The portal is not yet open now. Try again as from july 1st. The registration is likely to last only for two weeks. Starting from June 1st.

you can work as an editor, a publisher, as an indexer, educator, librarian, bibliographer, cataloguer, in any establishment as an information manager or informationis, the course is versatile in any career because information is power. If you are not informed you may be deformed.

alingo4life: Thanks nonsom,God bless you..Exactly what i need at this time.I applied to the univeristy of ibadan in the last utme and i scored 228.i choose the univeristy of ibadan as my first choice for library and information science.My question is this,In as much as i would love to study this course,how tedious is it.Hope it does not have too much calculations as am not too cut out for much calculations...lol..lol..And aslo,Is it only Libraries we can work after Graduation or elsewhere?

Library and information science is an intellectual and educational course, but it has no calculation. Information is power, any establishment requires information to grow, even our country needs information. This course has to do with human knowledge and information need to mankind. It has a lot of creer in it.

The course has to do with collection and organization of all the ten body of knowledge in the world. The course is encyclopaedic in nature, because it has to do with cataloguing and classification of the whole human knowledge.

Biology is not compulsory. Maths and English including Other 3 subjects.

I thought I had told you that government is not compulsory. what you need is maths, English and any other three subject. I am very sure for that.

IMT Enugu is current taking her first semester's exams now. And information reaching me now is revealing that lagos state polytechnic is on session now. Therefore, does it mean that the strike is not affecting the activities of those schools?

Slim curtis: my jamb score is 164 i opted for masscomm.i made all my o,level last year with b3 through out except my govt which was outstanding albeit,i havn't checked it again.plz is govt mandatory for masscomm.
Am equally interested in the evening programme.and i want to go for o.t.m but they told me is a stressful course and that shorthand is another thing there.plz advice me on what to do

Masscom requires maths and English and any other three subject to make it five. Otm is truely had, but with determination, you can make it.

enessye: Please can some1 explain this evening classes. As in how it is being run. Do they serve? How many years for hnd. And pls is the̶̲̥̅̊ hnd form full time out?

Evening program does not mean a night class. is a normal accademic program. It classes commences from 1pm -6pm, from monday to friday. some days lectures may held in the morning time. Is 2yrs program for ND and 2yrs for Hnd. The 1yr IT is compulsory. If you like you can join morning frogram for your Hnd, after you completed you Nd on the evening program. No form is on sale for now.
