Yes. It's low. 3 metres will give an angle of 22.6 degrees which is quite small.

12ft is small for your width. 13.4m is a lot of breadth.

Go with the 15ft or 16ft.

You should check your architectural drawing and follow the recommended height by the architect cos he must have calculated slope angles etc..

I want to know what is the height of your kingpost for this building.
secondly , I have an ongoing similar project which is 24m long(side view) * 13.4m wide (front view). what should be the height of the kingpost that is suitable.
'cos my carpenter is suggesting 15ft. I think 15ft is too high and might increase our cost for the stone coated roofing sheet.
The guy claims that if its not at 15ft high , it would leak when it rains.
Am suggesting 12ft to him , don't know if that is sufficient.

Hmm, i thought 20M to finish. 15M for all structure and fittings and 5M to decorate.
Most semi-detached are sold for average 35M. Just want to calculate properly.
May be selling the land and buying a semi will be the best move.
