Northerners are largely not interested but SE are the one on social media claiming northerners are the ones leading the protest. Lol yeah. We'll probably see the SE leading the protests in the North. I'll be watching the live broadcast from my abode. |

Lol. Southerners are largely disinterested. Northerners will likely take to the streets. That's the protest to watch out for. |

Politics › Re: Professor Cyprian Edward-Ekpo Criticizes EFCC Over Dollar-Spraying Crackdown by NothingDoMe: 8:44pm On Jul 27, 2024 |
EdgeUp: Granted that the EFCC has more serious matters to look into like probing NNPC, tracking evil politicians, investigating all the transactions Emefiele had with Dangote etc... The law is still the law and EFCC are doing what the law has asked them to do. DO NOT deface our national symbols for fun
As for the dollarization of the economy, a law should be made to limit the amount of dollars (fx) any individual or company can hold in cash within the country. For example, if you are caught with any amount above say $100, you will be charged for money laundering and be made to forfeit thrice the amount in question with $1000 as the minimum fine (whichever is larger) Looks like another retarded policy to me based largely on ignorance with a smidgeon of illiteracy. Dollarization starts from the top. Nigeria does not accept Naira as payment for her crude oil sales. Let's start from there. |

EreluRoz: Nigeria is not as corrupt as this oyibo countries but we don't know how to manage our media space. See how Nigerians like posting negative news on social media and giving us bad name That's not true. You don't hear negative news about these countries, not because the citizens don't post negative information, but because news is localized. If you're part of the community, you'll read and hear about everything. Google also provides localized content based on your location, and with the high volume of Internet noise, only a fraction of it filters into your news space. |

Depriest2020: Apart from Gbagi/Gwari and some hausas of northern Nigeria with Fulani cattle rearers, the rest Nigerians don't believe in farming activities, they all believe that if they make money then they can buy whatever food they need. Am not sure we have up to 5 million farmers in Nigeria, while we outh to have at least 50 million large scale farmers and not a mare 5 million peasant farmers. Lol. 25% of Nigerian population dey farm? Na the universe una wan feed? 😅😅😅 |
