Those were the words from my husband today. I work hard and I believe I'm good at my job but my husband says I'm too dedicated. I'm an IT manager and this means that I'm on call often, especially when our systems become unavailable. I also manage several people across three continents so I'm constantly responding to emails. My husband earns more money than me but does not have anyone reporting to him and finds it difficult to understand the level of responsibly I have.

A lot of women my mother’s age (early 60's) are dropping dead like flies due to accumulated unhappiness. That was when I decided not to allow depression in my life. They say a problem shared is half solved buts it’s really difficult to share when friends turn your situation into "gist".
