It looks like the option of opening a blocked account via the embassy is too long. Does any know about opening the account directly with Deutsch bank in ikoyi

Why did you decide to study for a course in Germany that pays such high amount of money? Unless you are strongly dependant on funds from your family, I think it´ll be tough and challenging.

and yes, you´ll have to pay a certain amount of the money before start of studies and at the same time, you´ll show 8640 euros as means of sustenance. hence, number 2 will surface.

I am going for a 2 years program in Germany and the tuition is 9000euro per year. Does any know how much I need to have in my german block account for the visa application. Is it just the

1. 8,640 euros for the first year living cost or
2. 8,640 + 9000 euros for the first year living cost and tuition.
