Please, how long does it take for an application to be vetted?

I applied on the 28th of August, 2025, and it has not yet been vetted.

During the application, I selected my appointment date as the 4th of September at the Immigration Office in Awka, Anambra State.

Since the application was not vetted by then, I still went to the office on my appointment date but was told that I had to wait until it was vetted.

As I write this, the status is still showing 'Waiting for Approval.'

Is there nothing that can be done by the Immigration officers at Awka, or did they ignore me because I applied online by myself?

Has anyone processed their passport at the Immigration Office in Awka, Anambra State before?
