Pamela is a single mother who still believes in love. Chuks wants love too — but the moment he finds out she has a child, everything changes. He says marriage is a big deal and he’s not sure any Igbo family will accept a single mum. Pamela fires back: at least she was honest, many women would have hidden it. Is it true that in Igbo tradition, a single mother cannot easily marry? Is anything really wrong with marrying a single mum who wants love just like everyone else? If you were in Chuks’ shoes, what would you do? And if you were Pamela, would you even explain yourself? Can you marry a single mum? Or is love supposed to be enough, no matter the past? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-EH3oQZLj0 |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcB4j5DnuE8?si=ubkXNiyB8DOP1n_6 Why You Are Probably Not Going to Get Selected After A Movie Audition Dear Upcoming Actors, Today, I want to speak to you, this time from a place of privileged position. Many directors get a lot of messages that reads "how do I join"? "Please use me" "what can I do to work with you" "I want to work with you" "help me I want to act". Above and many more often besiege film director's post ,, and almost each time they encounter some of you in real life. Let's get it straight, It's not wrong to want to reach out to producers and directors who could give you opportunity to live your dream. However, while you are at it, ensure you are taking classes in acting and perfecting your craft. My directors have in the past given some same opportunity you are looking for and got disappointed and never called them back again. Yes. Some impressed and are working with the directors for the longest time. It's also important that you position yourself, by setting up your profiles to reflect your dreams. Make out time to take proper headshot, record professional monologue if you can. Make your page attractive and organized. For your information, Most times when you tell a director you want to act, they often visit your profile to see what you are doing or what you have done. However, they are often disappointed because your page or profile doesn't look anything like that of an aspiring actor. Please do better. |

Are Nigerian Effeminate Boys Gays? Class of Secrets Season 2 Starts Conversation About Effeminate Boys In Nigeria The release of the first episode of the second season of the Nigerian High School Crime Drama Web series, Class Of Secrets, has sparked significant conversation across various social media platforms, particularly on Facebook communities like YorochiTv, regarding effeminate boys in Nigeria. It's important to note that CLASS OF SECRETS is not an effeminate-themed series. In fact, the second season tells the story of a young female student who returns to Folkestone High School to uncover the truth behind her brother's arrest, suspecting a conspiracy. Along the way, an anonymous figure plays mind games with the students, with Ugo, an effeminate student, being one of the targets. The first episode also sheds light on Ugo's family perception of his effeminateness. In a poignant dining scene, Ugo's father expresses anger towards him for behaving "like a girl," questioning if his classmates are not irritated by his demeanor. He goes as far as to remark that during the slave trade era, he would have sold Ugo to slave traders, adding that no one would buy him as he would be considered worthless. He even questions why God would punish him with "a girl in a man's body" and labels him a "bastard." Despite this, Ugo finds support from his mother, who reminds him that many people like him in Nigeria have achieved global success, citing examples like Enioluwa Adeoluwa. However, Ugo's father vehemently rejects this notion, dismissing his family with disdain, saying "like mother, like daughter." EPISODE 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bU-wYCKjJT8 At school, Ugo faces accusations of being gay, perpetuated by the anonymous figure and further fueled by his classmates. EPISODE 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT5Iiyh_b3s?si=4efDfA1HfvrUHGFP The series prompted extensive discussion on Facebook, particularly on YorochiTV, where an admin posted screenshots from the series, posing the question of whether effeminate guys are gay. Unfortunately, a majority of users replied affirmatively. Similar discussions gained traction on other teen Facebook communities, such as HappiVibes. While some expressed support for individuals to be whoever they wish to be, there were reservations about accepting effeminacy in one's own family, as reflected in comments expressing difficulty in imagining one's son being "girly." The debut of Class of Secrets Season 2 has served as a catalyst for dialogue surrounding societal perceptions of effeminate boys in Nigeria, prompting reflection and discussion on issues of gender identity and acceptance.
