PhonesRe: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by ntelassist: 1:27pm On Jul 09, 2017
@all. ntel does not block any IMEI of any device. Why would we do that?

Secondly, if there is a device from another operator
And such device is cracked to work on the ntel network, there is a possiblity that blocking and other types of shenanigans can come from the previous operator. The device is theirs and they expect you to use it on their network. My advise is that. Go and buy a universal LTE modem or mifi that supports LTE bands 3 and 8. Or better still visit the ntel store and pick up one of the various Mifi devices amd get fantastic deals.

Well fwiw my modem is a e5573. Never heard of this blocking. Why would they block a modem that has the capability to connect?

No information on their website and Ntelassist has disappeared
PhonesRe: The Xiaomi Thread. by ntelassist: 11:36am On May 08, 2017
Thank you for the brief. The reason for the network appearing and disappearing is because the phone needs to register on the network which owns the SIM card it has in it. There is a concept called combined-attach which means that every phone will register the various communications services on different sections of the network. i.e. Voice will register on d circuit switched network and data will register on d packet switched network. Hence for all phones, to work on an LTE only network with an IMS core, you will need to set the phone to a 4G only mode. This can be a difficult task but you can achieve that by dialing *#*#4636#*#* or *#*#3646633#*#* (for MTK chipset). if any of these fails, download an app called 4G LTE switcher.

Select phone information select network type, scroll down or up and select LTE only mode or 4G only mode. then toggle your phone service on and off, then check again. service should be on the phone. if this doesn't work, then the phone may not support the right BANDS

dustmalik:
Well, since it supports band 3, it should naturally work with ntel. But some of us have noticed that 4G Only networks like ntel, Spectranet, Smile don't work properly on miui 8(Android 6.0.1). Reception appears for a few seconds and then disappears. But those who have received Android 7.0, like Mi5 users, have confirmed that 4G Only networks work perfectly on it.

As far as I know, Redmi 4 prime doesn't enjoy a lot of community/unofficial support, hence I don't think there is an Android 7 based custom ROM for it, which would have been the solution, if ntel is really a must for you.

Science/TechnologyRe: Lol Nigeria And Its Surprises by ntelassist: 9:23pm On May 03, 2017
Hello. I do apologise for the experience you have had on the ntel network. ntel offers you unlimited internet service but the assertion that it was restrcited to 3gb perday is not true.
Not that you are lying but it may have been misinformation. What happens is you get the internet service for data resource of 3gb per day and den the service is throttled to allow balance being maintained on the network and for other users as well. The increase in price is in line with current realities in the nigerian economy which depends on something bigger than you and I to fix. We would be happy to restore your confidence back about our network
TheTruth33:
its noo surprise tho when you live in a country where anyone selling you anything is most likely about to play fast one on you
but this wasnt actually the case here i am an average Nigerian sitting down thinking of how to entertain my self while surfing the
internet and i see this add about a network called ntel offering unlimited data for 1 month just for the low price of 10k
it was so convincing cause they also mentioned it being 4G how stupid of me to believe those lying bastards ok i get the sim card
and subscribe for a week at first and it was going fine fast and i streamed movies like nobody's business till the next week came my data plan had expired ok since i enjoy the internet speed and the unlimited data they offered i did another one 10k for one month (oh yah the one week one cost me about 3k) immediately i paid for the data my internet was fast i enjoyed this internet for 2 days nonstop then it happened i woke up trying to use my internet and all i saw was not connected i checked if it was a service issue but nope it wasnt i called ntel and sent several mails no one replied me for about 3 weeks then the bastards finally called me a day before my subscription was to finish you how useless people are
ok i was very angry i screamed insults into the young mans ears on the phone the guy decided to fix it fine i used my internet for one more day
then since he apologized i decided to sub again thinking it wouldnt happen again this time they really bleeped me in the ass like an idiot i paid for an unlimited plan and it worked for 2 days and stopped immediately i called ntel no one picked at this time i was thinking to my self why am i stupid ok left the wifi on for about 2 weeks it wasnt working see as this idiots now called me to tell me that my network has a treshold on it that ma we give 3gig everyday that is our unlimited plan ewo i swear i told that idiot read up the meaning of unlimited is he okayhuh? they didnt do anything about it they still branded the data plan as unlimited and increased the price to 12,500 you see this idiots angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry

How much would you be willing to pay for your use per month. From what i see, you do belong to category of heavy user meaning you consume about 300GB monthly. Not on yiur smartphone of course. Question is how much you go like pay for that.
oyb:
ntel needs to urgently make their XL unlimited plan monthly
i have said same to customer care
i understand that somehow, Ntel pushed their unlimited smartphone data plan as the plan to be on
whether this was intentionally misleading customers or was deliberate is water under the bridge (for my phones, 1.5b per week is ok for general use)

i have made my peace with the unsuitability of the unlimited smartphone plan for my level of use - however there is no monthly unlimited plan for heavy users

i cannot pay 60k for 3 months as a regular user. i made the same complaint to customer care

i am actually about to switch to spectranets gold plan for the same reason. i cannot pay for 3 months straight

please fix your tiers /plans urgently.

duwdu:
Unfortunately for we real world consumers of ntel products, you're either in self-denial, or uninformed, or just being mischievous. More troubling, however, appears to be that you haven't bothered to at least read through the last 20 pages, say, of Stanley08's ntel thread in which thread you first introduced yourself.

On that thread, you'd see the tales of woe that consumers of ntel's products have had to grind through in the past couple of months! It will also reveal to you that the 64KB throttling issue is real — and kicking.

I humbly advice you to please sit up on this assignment, if you have the genuine goal of making a success of this thread for ntel and consumers of its products.

As for me and my household in the meantime, we've had it up to "here" with the unreliability of ntel's services — the least of which are very frequent "No Service" returns. Therefore, I shall not be renewing our subscriptions to ntel services once the current ones start running out in a few days.

Good luck!

All our data plans are real data plans. The smartphone data plan is a standard data plan. No need to worry about that sir. We may consider a nomenclature change...
OBAGADAFFI:
Ok thanks.

But you didn't answer my question on,
why is my data plan is Smartphone promo plan, when I bought a router worth 45k + 20k(sub) from your store.i was expecting a standard data plan not Smartphone.
Science/TechnologyRe: Need Support For Ntel Products And Services? Hit Me Up Here!!!! by ntelassist(op): 9:22pm On May 01, 2017
Your data resource is not accumulated. Hence once you buy an unlimited plan, its better to use it as the resources are not conserved for you. But are for metred plans.

There are other plans that do not have FUP applied and are equally high data. You can subscribe to such plans as ntel XL data for 25k and get 80GB. Believe me. The speed is not throttled.

OBAGADAFFI:
Will the unused 3gb per day be accumulated?

For example. My Office NTEL line has been switched off since Friday, but when I get to office tomorrow , usually between 9am - 10am the speed throttling starts, meaning i have used up 3gb between 9am- 10am.

What happens to all the unused 3gb when my router is switched off.

I suggest you just give us the standard date package and let us decide how to use it.

And why is my data plan Smartphone plan, when I bought a router worth 45k + 20k(sub) from your store.
PhonesRe: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by ntelassist: 4:59pm On May 01, 2017
@dam5reey we cannot exactly say d consumption is 90Gb. Its way more than dat. Because service resources are not suspended on FUP. Your advise is noted but at d moment, our product policy does not support ur suggestion. But its however noted.
Dam5reey:
Which is better self 3GB X 30 = 90GB for 12,500...

Give us a Data plan 90GB for 12,500 Simple... this makes better sense that all this FUP, T & Cs..
Science/TechnologyRe: Need Support For Ntel Products And Services? Hit Me Up Here!!!! by ntelassist(op): 4:11pm On May 01, 2017
The speed is not 65kb after FUP.. but you need to know that several factors affect your speed including your destination and source locations/capacity to push or pull data.

ProfDavid:
I don't know who gave you guys that idea of 65kb after 3GIG. Increase it to 300kb before you loose most of your customers. As for me i wont subscribe again going back to spectranet or glo 4G LTE
