Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi is facing a stiff threat from his deputy, Simeon Achuba, who has threatened to sue him over alleged non-payment of his salaries and allowances since 2017. According to Achuba, the total sum accruing to his office since 2017 amounts to over N819 million. Achuba made the allegation in a letter he wrote to Governor Bello to intimate him of his plan to seek redress at the court through his lawyer, Chief Femi Falana (SAN). The deputy governor asked Bello to pay all his entitlements in seven days or risk being taken to court.[color=#000099][/color] |
