For those who have been to Rwanda or are currently living there, I have a few questions. Firstly, I must be honest and say that I am considering sex tourism, but I will be traveling with my girlfriend. She will be flying in from Nigeria, while I will be coming from the Netherlands. I will arrive first, and two days later, my girlfriend will arrive. So, my question is, what are the prospects like for meeting girls there? Is it common on a nightly basis, or is it easy to find companionship, if you catch my drift?

Secondly, someone mentioned in the comments that they were issued an East Africa visa sticker upon arrival at the airport in Kigali. Are there any special requirements for obtaining this type of visa at Kigali Airport?

I've already booked accommodation through Airbnb, though housing there is expensive. And, of course, I have a return ticket. I would appreciate any insights you can provide. Thank you.

Aside Government Planning Regulations 3ft is very small.
The picture you attached is about 8ft to the fence and in between.
Consider window opening, AC, manhole aesthetics, ventilation etc.
(3ft is the width of average door )

3ft is illegal, 5feet is required for a plot and in between both building must exist 10feet. That is the rule set down by lasba. If your architect can’t find a way around that then it should be a unit. Anyone that tells you otherwise will only set you up for a huge penalty from lasba.

Are you suggesting that all the houses in Lekki, Ajah, and other areas have a 5ft spacing between the fence and the building wall? Is this based on reality or mere speculation?

By the time you plaster and add external fittings, the 3ft will become smaller.
Also Planning office will disturb you for contravening.

If all factors are taken into consideration and, ultimately, there is a 3ft spacing between the structures, would this violate any building regulations?

practically it is almost impossible for a land to be plain straight on the original survey so now to get the desired setbacks as according to lasba laws you can’t have twin buildings in there.

The piece of land is flat and rectangular, with a 3ft gap on each side of the units where the fence is located. I would like to confirm whether proceeding with the construction in this manner would still be considered illegal.

You can make it Semi-detached so there will be adequate setback on the 2 sides

Yes, I did consider that option, but currently, semi-detached is not feasible as I prefer the properties to be completely detached from each other.

I have attached a picture of two units, each with four bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. I would like to inquire if it is possible to construct these units on a single plot of land measuring 100ft by 50ft without them appearing excessively narrow. An architect provided me with a drawing indicating a total width of 18ft and a length of 60ft for each unit. I am seeking clarification on whether this arrangement would fit and still give the impression of spaciousness.
