You could see the size of blocks used, the load placed upon it couldn't get carried.
The structure wasn't constructed accordingly in the first place.

You used 6inches blocks.
Were the blocks strong enough? What about the bonding? Was the mortal mixed accordingly?

Open planned kitchen is a popular concept at least in the UK. People don't want to be locked up in the kitchen cooking cut off from the rest of the family. Some people (families) like to be cooking and interacting with the rest of the family and kids as well and possibly watching TV at the same time. Hence open planned. It is also an effective solution for small cramped flats. Open plan gives an optical sense of space and with a high ceiling (headroom) the effect can be dramatic in a small cramped flat.

However, there is a drawback to the concept. All the cooking overtime will settle on the soft furnishing in the living room. No amount of aerating or extraction will do. The living room will have a peculiar smell. In packed London trains, we always know those passengers with open plan kitchens, their jackets will be smelling food, food. It is not funny.

Nay for me. I would rather have a separate living room and kitchen dinner.

Hmmm, that could be dangerous, because it should have been taken care of from it's foundation. Enough columns should have been erected, the block walls should av been filled with weak concrete too. If the above was done. That's cool.
Ensure the reinforcement is very sound, make the thickness 175-200mm.

Well, this depends on it's purpose sir.
But I will advice you make it 150mm. It's gonna be out there for ever bearing the impact of weather.

Which is better between black cement screeding and pop cement screeding

If you are screeding the external parts of a wall (places that weathering conditions impact easily) then use black cement.
It is as lasting as plastering.
