Even if we want to play the lads, Jackson is the only CB in the squad apart from Maguire.

No Maguire means playing Jackson who is 18yrs old and a senior player who is not a CB together, in the middle of defence.

Recipe for disaster. Even Liverpool didn’t do that. Maguire will play even if it is own wheelchair, and his partner would most likely be Casemiro.



Jackson is on the bench just to make up the numbers. I suspect ETH will play McTominay at CB before him. He has an Under-18 Premier League Cup final against City in 3 days as well.
