High diesel prices are driving up the cost of everything, from groceries to Amazon orders and furniture. That's because nearly everything that’s delivered, whether by truck, rail or ship, uses diesel fuel. - The Associated Press https://apnews.com/article/middle-east-prices-climate-and-environment-21dd211bcccb049fc1e20e4ca36220be?taid=62dd73c2fcad210001329bad&utm_campaign=TrueAnthem&utm_medium=AP&utm_source=Twitter |

Port Harcourt refinery to begin producing 60,000bpd in 2023. Port Harcourt Refinery rehabilitation/overhaul is ongoing and progressing well. From the schedule, the 60,000bpd section should be completed early 2023, and the 150,000bpd section by end of 2024. https://thenationonlineng.net/port-harcourt-refinery-to-begin-producing-60000bpd-in-2023/ |

Vandalism, Theft of and Sand Excavation Around Transmission Infrastructure Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) recognises that the lack of stable power stifles economic growth. Upon his appointment as the Acting Managing Director of TCN, Engr Dr Sule Abdulaziz intensified efforts at rehabilitating transmission infrastructure and expanding network nationwide. In the middle of these painstaking efforts, TCN has been experiencing setbacks due to incessant vandalism and theft of its transmission equipment. This affects our investment plans as funds earmarked for grid expansion is ploughed into repairing vandalized equipment. Vandalism causes system disturbance which could lead to grid collapse. Some of the recent cases of vandalism: Tower number 104 at Oku Iboku in Akwa Ibom State, along the 330kilovolts (kV) Ikot-Ekpene to Odukpani transmission line. It led to system collapse of April 8, 2022 at around 6:30pm. 330kV Sapele to Benin transmission line tripped off around March 2022 after a series of attacks that affected some towers under it. Brand new 330kV Osogbo to Akure power transmission line. Two towers, fell causing a delay in the project execution. What of the laterite excavation around the transmission tower base! This causes erosion which in turns threatens the integrity of our tower base and can eventually cause its collapse. This is rampant in Abuja, Nekede in Imo State, Enugu, Osogbo areas among others. We cannot mention it all. We enjoin all to work with TCN to fight this war against vandals of power transmission facilities.

nihilistjnr: ![]() He's a frustrated married man. I understand his frustration and reason he's mentally weak to reason, think and behave like a real Adult on a social media platform. Tinubu is a private Citizen since 2007. He never contested even for Senate, but he's to be blamed for whatever happens under Buhari Administration. Same set of deranged Twérps said Buhari didn't want him as his Successor and he's definitely gonna lose the Primary. They littered spaces with Images of Buhari shunning Tinubu or care less to accord him respect or attention. They said his position as the Party National Leader is ceremonial, coz the President is actually the Party National Leader, and Tinubu is not even part of either NWC or BOT. Alas! Today.... Tinubu is the most powerful being in Nigeria. He's responsible for the Armed Forces, and all Arms of Government..... LMFAO! |
Itsrm: ![]() He's still a PDP Member.... that's all I care about now. |
|
For me, what gives Tinubu pre-eminence over most of the others who are contending for the crown but presently hiding behind one finger is his glittering records and achievements in both the private and public sectors. Tinubu single-handedly revived and revamped Local Governments in Lagos State and brought tremendous developments to practically every part of Lagos State. His other great political prowess is in identifying quality and talented leaders from hitherto political obscurity and foisting them on the people to great effect. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Ambition is a collective work. We’ll work vigorously to achieve the aims and objectives that’ll make our principal the incoming President Of Federal Republic Of Nigeria 2023 inshallah. - Dele Momodu |
God must love him dearly and extraordinarily. He has fought many battles that he won, spectacularly. He is naturally smart and adequately fearless. Tinubu is a living proof that courage conquers all. Tinubu is an enigmatic calculator who knows how to permutate the game and stun his opponents. Like Buhari, I want to assume that Tinubu had planned this journey for a very long time. All the steps he has taken since 1999 obviously point to this fact. Tinubu’s ambition is not an impossible mission. He is a master strategist who has acquired the templates of others like Major General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, Chief Moshood Abiola, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, plus being one of those who ran Buhari’s campaigns, substantially. He knows the Nigerian terrain very well and even his enemies respect him tremendously. - Dele Momodu |
Examples abound without doubt. I have followed Tinubu's trajectory for close to three decades. His story is a stuff of fairy tales. All those who have disparaged, derided, denigrated and despised him have not been able to bring him down, despite their monumental efforts to achieve this. When you think he is supine, broken and out, he rises, like the Black onyx and soars again. Tinubu has an uncommon audacity. I believe his bravery has taken him beyond his own imagination. A man who has survived too many tribulations like him cannot be an ordinary soul. - Dele Momodu |
I have no illusions that Tinubu will definitely perform as President of Nigeria, if he ever contests and wins. He has a knack for identifying brilliant minds and fertile brains, and the ability to nurture them to greatness. He has demonstrated this repeatedly and almost endlessly. - Dele Momodu |
Tinubu is eminently qualified to contest. If you ask me if he is a saint, I will say no. None of us is. Not even Buhari. Not you, not me. Nations are not governed by saints but by performers. - Dele Momodu |
