......Mainoo and Ugarte in the central midfield. Bruno and Cunha behind Højlund. Amad and Dorgu play wing-back. Trio of Yoro, De Ligt and Heaven behind Bayindir. Let's see how it pans out. |
Englishisamust: ![]() ......Bruno ain't gonna be sold bruh. Its very possible for a camel to pass its neck through a needle than United selling Bruno this season. |
Rio Ferdinand: “So if I got the money for the four players that are surplus to requirements now, would I get a No 9 or would I get Baleba? “Would I get a No 9 I'm not sure about, who's a bit young, inexperienced, or would I get Baleba with Premier League experience and know what he can do here? I'm going Baleba, sorry. I'm going to go with Baleba. “I think he'll have a huge impact on this squad, on this team. You free up a few people in that midfield area as well to have a little less responsibility defensively because I think he's all-action. He can do it all.” |
Rio Ferdinand: “If I don't get a striker, I'd go midfield. 'There's only ONE name I'm thinking about, I've got to be honest, who I think fits the bill for what we need. An Amorim-type player as well. "Physically great, can drive with the ball, can take it in all areas, very good tactically, great energy, great legs, Premier League experience, centre midfield, Carlos Baleba. That's who I go and get. That's my man. That's the one I go and get. I go and break the bank.” |
Leyqute: ![]() ........hopefully he gets some minutes at the preseason. Amorim has made it clear Bruno gonna play in the deeper role this season, thus we need a technical midfielder to partnet him. None of Casemiro, Ugarte even Collyer is technical enough to partner Bruno in the midfield hence our hope will be Mainoo and Kone, if we fail to sign a midfielder this Transfer Window. The boy has it in him to be honest, he just needs games to honing the skills and becomes a better player. |
"I think he [Mainoo] can play in both positions in the midfield. Last year, he played more in front. I think his perfect position is more near the ball, always with the ball. "I think he's a big talent and you guys know that better than me, that he is a big talent. I think he needs to increase the rhythm, the pace. I'm always on top of that with Kobbie because he's so good sometimes, but he can be better. "So I have big plans but, like I said, it's one game per week and the competition is going to be huge. Everybody has to be prepared to play one game or play all the games. That is the key point in our season." - Rúben Amorim |
"He [Bruno] can be [in deeper midfield]. We can change in game but I think sometimes we miss Bruno when he’s playing as a no.10. I think it’s a good position for him [deeper midfield]. "I really like when Bruno has the ball and if you have the threat of Bryan, Rasmus, Matheus in the space, if you have a player with the quality of Bruno without pressure on the ball, it gives us quality." - Rúben Amorim |
"I understand clubs are maybe waiting for the last minute, but they can have a surprise and I’m ready. I’m ready to receive the players. They have more competition – if you want to play in the World Cup this year, you need to play, so I’m really happy with that because I have more options. If they have to fight each other to play, for me it is perfect.” - Rúben Amorim |
Leyqute:.....I wouldn’t say he is not ready, let's put him to test first. At his age, Yamal, Gavi, Pedri and co are already balling for Barca. No one says pressure should be put on his shoulders, let's see what he can do first. Who knows bro..... |
"If we reach a point where they have to join the team, they will join the team because they are our players. “I know for a fact that these people, Omar [Berrada] and Jason [Wilcox] and the club have a number for these players. If they don’t reach that, they will be Manchester United players, no doubt about that." - Ruben Amorim |
TrebleChamp:.....I don't know why I am more optimistic that Kone will do well in the position. |
TrebleChamp:......first match is enough to tell you that we will suffer a bit. Let’s hope tomorrow's match gonna be different. |
.......United ain't gonna sign any player(s) this window, except miracle happens. |
Oasis007: ![]() .......Maguire seems missing, or my eyes dey pain me ni?! |

Jason Wilcox, Director of Football, said: “Bryan’s goals and assists record in the Premier League is exceptional, his remarkable consistency has put him amongst the most productive players in England for the last three seasons. “Bryan’s belief in our project and determination to join the club confirmed that he was the perfect fit for Manchester United and the culture that we are developing. “We are delighted to have secured another one of our primary targets ahead of the pre-season tour. The experience in the US will be the perfect opportunity for Bryan to work with Ruben and his new team-mates as we prepare for an exciting season ahead.” |
“My mentality is to always be better than I was yesterday. I know that I have the spirit and character to reach another level here learning from Ruben Amorim and playing alongside world-class players. “Everybody told me about the environment that is being created here and how exciting the plans are for the future. This is a massive club, with an incredible stadium and amazing fans, we are all really determined to challenge for the biggest trophies.” |
Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Bryan Mbeumo has joined the club, subject to registration. The Cameroon international has signed a contract until June 2030, with the option to extend for a further year. Last season, Mbeumo, 25, scored 20 Premier League goals, the fourth highest in the league, and registered a further eight assists. Since Brentford’s promotion to the top flight, Mbeumo has averaged an impressive 18 goal contributions per season. Bryan Mbeumo said: “As soon as I knew there was a chance to join Manchester United, I had to take the opportunity to sign for the club of my dreams; the team whose shirt I wore growing up. |
![]() .....Juve dey bid €15m for Sancho?! Well.....at all at all, na em bad. Chelsea is considering Garnacho - Jackson swap deal. Rashford will undergo medical at Barca in the next 24hrs. No bids yet for Antony and Malacia. |
eph12:.....no excuse! Hope next match ain't gonna be as the first match. |
Amad: “I think they have to be patient with us. There’s a new manager, with new players and new tactics. "We know last season wasn’t really good for the team, but I think this season we will win a lot with him and I hope this season we are going to achieve a lot of good things by the end of the season. "A good season will be top five. I hope we can achieve that top five at the end of the season because I think they deserve.” |
eph12:.....simple! We wanna be playing from the back, yet no player is showing up to collect ball and drive it forward. Our CBs can't dribble a cone or shield the ball except Yoro, Heaven and Licha. We have got serious works to do. Amorim should risk it all or leave. Let us see what he can offer not what players can offer. We need to know who to blame this time around. |
engrelvis:......ain't sure you watched the match. We honestly don't care if they make mistakes or not, we just don't wanna see us playing like last season again. First half reminds us of last season all over again. They ain't pressing aggressively, playing safe as usual like we were competing for a trophy. |
BARAJ92:......nothing is too low to discard Rashford. We didn’t sign him for any penny by the way. |
🚨🩺 Bryan Mbeumo completes second part of medical at Man United today. He’s expected at Carrington for media and formal contract signing until June 2030 plus option until 2031. - Fabrizio Romano |
Ruben Amorim: "We have a lack of pace, especially in the middle of the park, you can feel it.".......glad he knows. |
TrebleChamp:.....everyone on this board wants Bruno sold, even beyond this board. He offers nothing than nagging on the pitch. Team fair better in the 2nd half cos Bruno ain't in the lineup. Ain't gonna take it easy with Amorim again, if he keeps playing him in the attacking role. Let him start working on himself as a CM. Rooney did it for the club. |
chrisley024:......no improvement at all and if its this nonsense Amorim wanna offer us this new season, I am gonna join the AmorimOut Group straight up. |
