FYI, KDB also has poor ball retention that has improved under Pep. The reason it was an issue for Bruno when it comes to signing him up is because he played in Portugal. When you sign players for big money outside the the top 5 leagues, you'd want him to be almost perfect there.

Two years ago, we were losing almost every midfield battle we were involved in. Couldn't score more than 1 goal. Most of our matches were ending in draws. Ole was definitely going to get the sack.

Then Bruno came in, we began playing better. Goals started flowing in like anything. He made and instant impact and has been our best player from that point.

Now that we're still not winning midfield battles, how's it that it's this guy that improved his massively that's getting majority of the blames for losing midfield battles. Did y'all get tired of blaming McFred and decided to go in on a new person.

Keep missing the point. Bruno has always been known for poor ball retention right from his days in Portugal. Never hindered the way he affected every single game. Now man's playing like a confused Iwobi.

Rashford also was overdoing things and losing possession, playing like Richarlson sometimes. But didn't hinder him from affecting every single game positively. Man had like 30 goal contributions. Formed great partnership with Luke Shaw and Bruno. Greenwood was loving life with Bissaka that looks like a Congolese driller this season.
