Greenwood on Cavani: "I’ve never seen a striker do as many movements. He does probably the same movement about six or seven times a game, like the one against Southampton, he does that every day in training. He scored two from doing the exact same thing." |
Greenwood: "He [Cavani] reminds me a lot of Juan [Mata] who’s here as well, and Nemanja [Matic] – two great professional players. It’s always good to have them in your team, as a young lad, to look up to and to take note of." |
Greenwood: "He’s [Cavani] a top striker, you can tell the second he came here. The stuff he does, the way he dresses himself, the way he trains, the way he does everything right as a footballer really." |
BikeMan: ![]() This is how BlueAngel444 and Segedinho started, you and I know how it ended right?! You've got Tuchel, hence you assume you've got Pep's latest Version I guess?! Wolves are waiting to devour what remains of already barbecued Weyrey Mighty and rinse it off the Throat with Kai Kai. |
CapitalCee:We need to cut down our Expectations on the Team, especially winning the League. If we end up second it's actually not a bad Campaign, but it should be capped with at least a Trophy. City are on fire, they're far ahead of us professionally and tactically. They are playing very fantastic Football. You and I know Alladyce gonna pack Buses against them, yet they dismantled the Buses effortlessly with Missiles firing from left and right. We really need to lower our Expectation to avoid being emotionally down and losing our sanity over OGS and his Babies, if eventually we couldn't win the League. I have not seen any sign that we are indeed in for the Title Chase. We shouldn't be confused with our Wins, because our plays ain't convincing at all. Though I'll give it to OGS, to be honest he has tried and he's still trying to bring out something different from his predecessors. Let's chase FA Cup, Europa League and hope to be second on the Log at end of season. If we win the League, it's gonna be a huge Bonus. |
Cityzens are back in the Mood. We gonna need to completely do away with Mud to get a hand on the Trophy. |
Solskjær: "His [Cavani] reaction, his work-rate, his habits, his humility... we can go on and on — his experience and attitude has been a lesson for every single one of us." |
Solskjær: "What he [Cavani] brings is, you know when a striker of that age runs almost 12km... he chases down the centre-back, every time their keeper has the ball, he tackles the centre-midfielders, he makes a mistake and then gets back in his own 18 yard-box." |
Solskjær: "Mason [Greenwood] has grown, matured, and he's been training with Edinson Cavani for half a season now. Whoever's learning from a professional like him, or Bruno, that's it. I'm very confidence that Mason will chip in with goals and assists." |
Solskjær: "We think Mason [Greenwood] is going to be very important in the second half of the season — but it's not going to happen by itself just because he played a good game and scored." |
Solskjær: "Amad [Diallo] is different [to Pellistri], he's only come in and he's training in a different scenario. It won't be long until I can bring him into the squad." |
Solskjær: "There has been quite a few clubs interested in Facundo [Pellistri] to go out on loan and that's maybe something we will let him do now. He's had a few games in the reserves and we want to get him regular football in a different level." |
Solskjær: "For me it's always important to take our wishes and our plans into consideration, but also the players' of course, because they are Manchester United people through and through." |
Solskjær: "There's been many clubs interested in our players, so let's see what happens." |
Solskjær: "They're [Manchester United players who could leave] still part of our club, training well, no deal has been struck for any player yet, there's still a little period left of course." |
Solskjær: "I'm grateful for the patience because we've had two or three really bad spells of form — we don't know what's going on behind the scenes at clubs." |
Solskjær on Frank Lampard being sacked by Chelsea: "It's not for me to comment too much on that. I know Frank doesn't want us to feel sorry for us, with his character." |
Solksjaer Edison Cavani: "His experience and attitude have given us a lesson, every one of us. "His reactions, work rate and threat in the box, and the humility of coming in every day and doing his best." |
