Left for me, I will be play 3 Upfront - Lukaku on the right, Martial on the left and Rashford in the middle. I will play Pogba more deep, pair him with McTom but with freedom to play as box2box. Lingard will play as No. 8. He has loads of work to do, his Pace and Energy will be needed for counter and as well tracking back to choke the midfield. Defence.... Sigh! Young is definitely starting as a RB, though I would have preferred Dalot, Lindelof and ..... *Sigh as CB, then Shaw as LB. |

Everyone to his/her Opinion. Nigeria Football has passed the stage of celebrating Mediocrity, thus qualifying for AFCON ain't to me a Success worth celebrating by the football loving Nigerians. So far..... I rate late Keshi over Rohr, and mind you - I am not under appreciating Rohr, neither hating on him. Late Keshi that we keep under appreciating, keep alleging of Corruption and Favoritism qualified Togo for their first ever World Cup - so what's the big deal with Rohr's Achievement so far with the Eagles? The same Keshi had a successful Spell with Malian National Team as well, before he returned Home and guided Super Eagles to AFCON Title - yet even after death, he's still be calling Names on this Thread Amuneke is doing fantastically well in Tanzania, repeating the same Feat late Keshi achieved away from home, yet our indigenous Coaches are sham. So we are in the class of Tanzania now?! Cos the same thing Rohr achieved with Eagles, Amuneke has done the same thing with Tanzania National Team. |
Truidstar:We are not.... qualifying for AFCON ain't a Feat to celebrate, coz we ain't Tanzania. |
okmoney:If you have not booked yet, I will advise you to stay off Kenyan Airlines. I will never board Kenyan Airlines again except there is no other choice. They won't offer you any place to rest, except you are ready to pay for Guest Room within the Airport. |
BascoVanVeli:I expect majority of the Academy Players to be signed up by the Clubs participating in the Competition. |
BascoVanVeli:This will go in a long way to help re-shape our football in Nigeria. The Boys are really young and definitely look under 15. The best among them are probably gonna be selected for the next U17 National Team. This will help Manu Garba to scout for the best U17 Players easily now. All he needs doing is following the League bumper to bumper. Kudos to whoever is responsible for the Competition. |
Sodje is right. Nothing is spectacular in Rohr's tactics and style of play. It's more than huffing Ball up and down, hoping to pounce on a loose Ball based on Luck, rather working for it. If indigenous Coaches had the same backing as Rohr, they would have delivered, but this is Nigeria - where don't value our own. Oliseh managed a Club, to some extent, successfully. Late Keshi managed two national Teams apart from Nigeria, successfully with records breaking. Siasia had top-class instincts with the U23 and U20 national Teams respectively. Amuneke is doing outstandingly well with Tanzania national Teams. Manu is unraveling Talents hidden in the country - yet we keep saying indigenous Coaches ain't good enough for the National Teams. Back the indigenous Coaches, and the rest shall be history - coz they would deliver, entertaining, good football with trophies and medals. |

![]() How some Peeps do get times; following this Thread bumper2bumper, dropping Epistles day and night, befuddles me. Well..... Fingers ain't equal, some might actually be CEOs or Managers with less Assignments on the Table. If not, Some Topics wouldn't have been discussed at all, rather treated as DOA. Perhaps to fast forward the time, some are taking solace with endless, back and forth Arguments spiced up with Emotions and baseless Allegations. |
![]() Really pray Westham can go to the Lion's Den, come back unscathed, rather with the Lion's Head. But the Mofo of a Club is losing Home and Away. Expecting them to win tomorrow is like expecting Poco to drop Sexpacade on the Ashawo and Beer Palour Thread. |
![]() Special thanks to the Gayners for not extending the Gap. There is still light at the Tunnel's End, coz it's not Night Time yet. |
