All these scummy never still realize say them get the players Na coach poor tactics Dey hinder them. Lukaku for Belgium Dey score goals. See Sanchez wey Dey hot for arsenal don regressed badly, u think it’s a coincidence. “I have to say that Juventus is at a different level and if people doesn’t want to accept that, it’s their problem. I always try to be honest. They have a different level of quality and stability and experience and knowhow and at the base of the team, they have Bonucci and Chiellini.

That’s the base that allows them to play with the freedom that they play in attack. With Cristiano [Ronaldo], with Dybala, with people creating. Losing the ball? No problem, we are here. Lose the ball? No problem, we are here, so I think probably the effort of the boys would deserve a goal in the last minute of the second half.

"We deserved a draw, a point, but it was not possible. But I have no complaints with my boys. I have a positive feeling towards their effort and on Sunday [against Everton], we have another match to think about.”

“I think Juventus are this kind of team that, when they are in front, it’s very, very difficult to concede a goal. I think our attacking players were not with, what I say in a funny way, ‘honey in their feet’. Things were not coming [off], but everybody tried, everybody was strong, everybody was strong mentally to try until the end.

"Juventus felt it and, instead of the control they had in the first half, in the second half they defended and they ended the game with an extra central defender to add to the amazing [Giorgio] Chiellini, the amazing [Leonardo] Bonucci. Mr Bonucci and Mr Chiellini could give some Harvard University classes about how to be a central defender.

"A team with everything - they have talent everywhere, all over the pitch. So it was a really difficult match for us. I thought before the game, and during the game, I thought that we could take something out of this game, but it was not possible. We didn’t manage to score but I'm happy with the players.”

“A bit [far] gap between Juventus and United. A bit far. Juventus is champion for seven years, you know. Two Champions League finals in the last four or five years and they are not happy with what they have.

"They go for the best players in the world. A big club with a big past but a big desire also to have a big future. Everything they put there to try to win, I don’t say the Champions League, I say to win the Treble.

"That’s what they want as normally they win at home. The Treble for now, is not theirs yet, it is ours. But I think they are really close to it.”

“Since the draw, we've known it's going to be a fight with Valencia for the second position and that is what we are going to try [to do]. We knew that since the beginning.

"We have four points, three matches to go. In every match we can get points like today - we could get one. But I believe this is going to the last match in Valencia which is a normal situation when the group has a super team like Juventus and two good teams like us and Valencia.”

“The player [Lukaku] is a fantastic professional who wants to give everything for the team but I have to agree, his moment is not sweet. Not just for the goals he’s not scoring but his confidence, movement and touch.

"He is not linking the game well with the team. But he’s our striker, he’s a good striker and a striker we believe in. Could I play Rashford there? Then I don’t have a winger as we’re in this difficult [injury] situation.

"He’s a hard-working professional. One day the goal will arrive and the confidence will be back.”

Football has left Mourinho. The Scam belongs to Fergie Era, and the earlier the Board understands this, the earlier the Team is redeemed from the sunken Place.

Scholes ain't just a Human, he's also a Deity cos Albinos are half Human, half Deity. He's right after all, for never believing Mou is the right Man for United.

.......... United will be great again!

It's so annoying he's getting older faster than his Age in size, body structure and appearance.

seem he's setting up for quick breakaways, but do they still remember how to counter attack? that's a big question.
No one can tell the Plan until the Match begins. I expect Mata to play 10, and hope he's gonna be handy making decisive passes in the Match.

Though I'm a bit afraid Mata might have lost his mojo as a Playmaker, but I expect him to fire up and grab this rare Opportunity to becoming a Regular Week in Week out.

Frankly speaking, criticism of Ighalo on this Thread ain't fair and objective most times. How many Goals have Lukaku scored for Manchester United this Season?!

The same Lukaku who is failing to bang Goals for United this Season, is banging Goals for Belgium. Same thing is applicable to Rashford, cos his Stats with the Three Lions are improving significantly compared to his Stats at United.

The Common Factor is easier to identify; both perform for their National Teams but failing at United. Why?! Mourinho's Tactics!

Ighalo is being starved of Assists (clear-cut Chances), thus how do we expecting him to be banging Goals?! Can you Guys compare Midfielders and Wingers that played with Yekini, Obagoal and co to the present ones?!

The Chance he missed against the Argies ain't that Spectacular?! It ain't a tap-in Chance he missed, neither the pass was laid to him in the Box, so why Fuss or Wailing?!

Several Times we said on this Thread that Iwobi is more needed in the Team as a Playmaker not as a Winger, but we were asked to shut up! As a Lady opined, Guys too get emotional on this Thread.

The Thread is maturing, growing in Pages, but our Attitude and Emotion are getting Worse!

NFF can not do away with Rohr at the moment, cos he's maintaining Discipline in the Team. Tactically he's average, thus I would rather suggest he's made the Chief Coach and a tactcally sound Coach is hired as the Team Technical Manager.

Something I do not understand is; are Nigerians fickle - minded?! Because Kalu had a poor game, Onyekuru couldn't prove himself in the GWG Shirt yet, then we should bin them for another Players?!

Seem we have forgotten there is a Player called Simon Ajala Moses?! The reason he didn't play a Minute in both Legs is because; he's not fully fit yet and Rohr didn't wanna gamble with it.

Kalu is a deputy to Moses on the RW, while Onyekuru is also a deputy to Musa on the left Wing. If Moses Simon is fully fit for the South Africa Match, I am 100% sure - Rohr will start him and relegate Kalu to the Bench.

Both Onyekuru and Kalu are young Players, they are still developing and gelling, Rohr should never discard or replace them in the Squad.

BTW........ Ighalo is back!

Up Super Eagles!

They will definitely be part of the U23 set up if they are available to us. But that still does not stop Rohr from adding them to the SE when necessary.

I typically like a matured U23 team. IE U23 team with a good number of players that have played at Senior level. Like Uzoho, Awaziem, Kalu and Onyekuru are eligible for the 2020 Olympics. Remember also that Samuel Chukwueze, Kingsley Michael, Orji Okonkwo, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Osimhen, K. Nwakali, Sincere Seth are some of the players that would likely have risen to the SE before 2020 Olympics. And they are also eligible for the Olympics. Remember also that Ebube Duru, Ukouwem Utin and the rest of the U20 class are eligible.

If the coaches can make the right selections and these players are available. That would be a killer squad.
tbaba1234:
I think, we should have a standing under 21 team that plays friendlies during international breaks. That way, we can see which of the youth players might be ready to step up and cap some of the youth dual citizen prospects.
Good Ideas from the Elders, but I think it should be under 23 instead of under 21 @Tbaba!

I agree with your first paragraph.

But on the 2nd paragraph any player who can add value, even if U23 can be invited.
The Reason for my second Paragraph is simply to accommodate Lookman, Eze and other talented Nigerian Players below the Age in the National Team.

Then they can be gradually Integrated into the Senior Team based on Merit. Names keep popping up every Hour as if Rohr can invite more than 24 Players at a go or lineup more than 11 Players for a Match.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Oasis007(m):
We need to understand something on this Thread, Rohr can only invite at least maximum of 24 Players to the Camp at a go! Also we can't expect him to be changing Players in every international Match.

Any Player below 23 whether FB or Local should be drafted to the Olympic (U23) Team. Senior Team is already crowded.

As much as I don't want to see Mourinho at United again, I don't think that the laziness is due to the tactical plan. Defensive teams even have to put in a shift for it to work. The players are not just willing to put in the extra effort required of a big team with ambition. It's either because they don't agree with the tactics or fitness level is poor, which means the fitness coach is doing a very poor job.
Why ain't they pressing, why are they conservative when defending?!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 10:13am On Oct 02, 2018
What's the Cause of the Laziness? Defensive Football in a conservative Manner. Our Players rarely press, rather shadow-marking and it's all down to the tactical Plan and Instructions of the Portuguese Salisu Yusuf.

I repeat, I want Mou gone, but will never wish for the Club downfall in the UCL.
