It's easy to sit wherever you are and say he should keep fighting, if only you know how it feels...Those who have experienced anything of this sort in their place of work will tell you better.

The thing is if Sanchez came into the team and started doing so well, even Martial would've accepted inside him that he was being benched for a superior player but Sanchez came and wasn't playing well by any standard but Mourinho stuck with him, something he wouldn't do for a Martial or a Shaw.
It is very frustrating when your efforts are not appreciated, even in our respective place of work, we'd feel really bad if a new guy comes in and is chosen to lead the team you once led even when he is not as efficient as you.
Mourinho is far from fair in this game, his presser after the Brighton match was more of one of a coach who was hoping Martial and Rashford have bad games just so he use the 'I told you so' line, that's petty, really petty.

Martial feeds off the press that praises his skills and act like Mourinho has to play him all the time because he's talented. Talent alone can't help him cut it at the top. He needs to be serious and be consistent. I'll definitely choose Rashford on that wing over him a million times. I hate lazy players with passion. KDB is not just great because he's talented. KDB is great because he's talented, consistent and very hard working. Pogba and Martial have the first trait of KDB but lacks the latter two and that's why they can't move to the next level.

I may be amongst those wishing Martial be given more chances, but I know for a fact that Martial is a mental midget. He acts lackadaisical on the pitch. He plays without determination. Just because he has the talents doesn't mean every opposition will get scared when he's with the ball.

He doesn't grab the few chances he's given to impress the coach. Against Brighton, even though Rashford had a torrid time, he's the only amongst the trio of Mata, Martial and him, who was pushing hard and trying to cause the defenders problems. His work ethic is why Mourinho values him above Martial. Martial is just a bag of skills without a zeal and in football, your talent is not just good enough.

Look at who's in charge and the players whose contracts the man in charge is bent on renewing.

It's not like the leopard will get rid of its spots or start scheduling sessions with a dermatologist.

I agree Stoke are relegated but do you know they can still finish ahead of Swansea?

Stoke are on 30points and on GD of -34 while Swansea are on 33points and GD of -26. Swansea faces Southampton and if Swansea loses by up to 3 or 4 nil there GD can drop down to -30. And on the last day if Stoke wins 2nil and Swansea loses 2 nil sef they will both be on 33points and GD of -32. Stoke will top them because they have scored more goals.

The major reason Stoke have been relegated is because Southampton are playing Swansea. And both needed to lose their next two games for Stoke to survive. If it was goals difference Stoke still had a chance.

Merely looking at the table alone it will appear Stoke are not relegated. Why they are out is because Southampton and Swansea are facing each other in an outstanding fixture. Were they to meet different opponents and both should lose it would have been a different story for Stoke.
