The lawmaker representing Aba South in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Ichita saves an electrocuted NEPA man . Read his post in his Facebook profile page: Obinna Ichita. Dear constituents and Friends, I wish to thank all of you who participated in the successful rescue of one of our constituents, Mr. Emmanuel Orji , who had electric shock atop an energy cable. Today, while riding with my friend, Chigozie Hartley Eberendu , along Port Harcourt road by Nwogu street, we observed a crowd starring up to an energy cable. Up there, in shock and totally confused were two other men, struggling to rescue Oga Emma, who had electric shock. Our vehicle stopped, and we participated in the rescue and eventually took him to a hospital after he had been examined by Dr. Eberendu, who incidentally is an emergency physician. Dear friends and constituents, I must commend all of you who came out, improvised and successfully rescued Oga Emma. Our happiness is that Mr. Emmanuel survived. You are the heroes . To God be the glory !

It was a great jubilation at Kelechi Hospital off Uratta Rd Aba as the Honourable Member representing Aba South Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly Mazi Obinna Ichita, PhD paid the hospital bills of 250 thousand Naira for Mrs. Ada Moses who was delivered of a bouncing baby girl for over two months but was abandoned by her husband in the hospital. Luck smiled on Mrs Ada Moses when a Facebook user named Nwachinemere Ferdinand notified Hon. Obinna Ichita of the plight of the mother and child via a Facebook message. Within 24 hours, the lawmaker personally went to the hospital, paid the bills and gave the woman additional money to take care of the baby. Mrs Ada Moses who has no one to help her could not hold back her tears as she shed tears of joy uncontrollably. Everyone in the hospital heaped prayers and blessing on Hon. Obinna Ichita whom the people of Aba described as a very good man and a politician with a difference. Obinna Ichita’s Facebook page is filled with prayers and greetings from the people of Aba.
