I stay away from Elu's companies. pluto09: I don't think Tony really cares about the market price of some of his companies. TRANSCORP did not make any significant price movement until Ote came to shake him. The same TRANSCORP has been stagnant again for almost 2 years |

NAHCO: Revenue: ₦53B → ₦65B+, Profit: ₦5.5B → ₦12.8B (2x growth), EPS growth: >100% YoY. Market is pricing explosive short-term growth + aviation rebound. Previously undervalued, the stock is now being repriced rapidly, driven by earnings surge and investor attention Sure, there is a risk of sharp correction If growth slows, but I dont see NAHCO slowing down soon as they are signing fresh contracts with multiple airlines, with oil companies to handle radioactive imports logistics and investing in terminals to facilitate rapid exportation of farm produce. Donald Trump's war in the Middle-East though is a major threat in this Q1 and Q2 as it has affected aviation a lot. HesInMe: But at least with TSLA you can see a path to high revenue and earnings growth at scale through the launch of robotaxis. And with NGXGROUP you can make the case for fee income from mega IPOs on the horizon (Dangote Refinery, Flutterwave?), trading hours expansion, and new trading products (futures). No significant new investment required.
Where's the growth for NAHCO? |

They wont reach 1000. The bears will return soon. nedu666: I see a repeat of the obasanjo era where stock prices were just rising before a correction. I ask will the coys with these 200, 150, 300 naira stocks experience a 100% rise in 2026 profit. Because a 10% rise in profits doesn't justify the price. Because at this rate without pull backs nacho, lafarge, pz, zenith, gtb fit reach 1000 naira by December |

People are buying expectation. NAHCO is now a growth stock. So far revenue growth matches investors anticipation, NAHCO will keep soaring. pluto09: Thank you jare for the correction. I checked the pe of NAHCO on investing.com in the morning and I saw 25. I was surprised some brokers are still putting out a buy recommendation on the stock at current price. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 6:37pm On Apr 20 |
Why not? Shareholders are reacting to NAHCO's outstading performance, rewarding its shareholders. HesInMe: NAHCO, not some invisible stock that isn't on anyone's radar, up 50% in one month. Because they plan to open a hotel?
This will not end well. |

Okay. We see for their Q1 result if the revebue don dey begin enter. debeey87: Not sure it was ever supposed to have crossed 20 or even get there based on their numbers today. CWG is a better pick in that space. That's my rookie opinion. Their deal with the national revenue service pushed price higher. Maybe we start to see revenue from that deal soon |

It has all gone silent on the Dangote Fertilizer front. It was suppoped to list Q4 2025 but it seems Alhaji is now prioritizing the refinery. I am more upbeat about the Fertilizer biusiness as it is less limley to be impacted by geopolitics. |

FACT. If this government loses the next election I would reconsider my continued participation in NGX. nosa2: I don't think this government losing the election will be a bullish event. The one thing this government has done right is its economic policies. The policies may be brutal for the masses but they are necessary.
P.S Lets try and not start a politics fight |

LOL. Its one of the 3 biggest indigenous oil companies na, with a 11k barrell/day refinery capacity(now 30k I think). Also, a major player in the gas sector. Bought over ND Western, which makes them majority stakeholders of the RENASSAINCE group- basically, they are the Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria of today! nosa2: What do you guys see in Aradel? |

Are you sure? The Palestinians have Canaanite DNA oh!. awesomeJ: Your analysis would have made sense if this fight was between the Israelis and those people who occupied the land before them
The fact that the Palestinians also once lived there is not the basis. The basis and justification is that the Israelis lived there long before any Palestinians and so they have a right to reclaim the land as long as they never sold it to the Palestinians or gave it to them based on any treaty.
In this case, they were forced out due to oppressive power, now that they themselves have oppressive power of their own, they can justifiably reclaim the land by the same oppressive token |

You guys just amuse me. You think if we excavate Onitsha back 3,000 years, you think its people that look and talk like the current occupants that used to live there? How do you think Onitsha people will feel if some people arrived claiming their ancestors once lived in Onitsha millenials back and hence they have the right to the land? mikeapollo: I have explained the alibi behind the name ''West Bank''. Go back and read it if you want to learn. I know you would be happy indeed if someone decides to call Onitsha by a new name of ''East Bank''(of river Niger) and decides to remove all the history, antecedents, archaeology, artefacts, landmarks, records and trace of Igbo people's culture from that place so that another tribe can take it and appropriate it as theirs. You ask yourself if there are no local, traditional name for the town and places there in different from the new English name of ''East Bank'' |

The market is bearish. I suspect Donald Trump's illegal war in the Middle East is contributing. I am sceptical to invest in the NGX these days as we will be impacted if the world heads to a global recession, which may be imminent. |

GeeKudi: Iran is not going to give up anything. Whatever Iran is doing is motivated by the ideology that they are doing it for 'god'. If you are going into a war with them. go all in and get the job done and not just some media propaganda. Recession is around the corner. They actually shouldnt give anything up. The injustice and lopsidedness of the world is sickening. If the attackers could let them invade and take the stockpile. It will be at a huge human and economic toll. This is the reason previosu POTUS had shied away from this senseless adventure. |
