Exactly. If well implemented, the farmers will eventually make more money.

lawani:
Produce boards are simple to operate. Farmers union will also be on the board. You submit your produce to government and they record and issue receipt then they go and fight for a good price in the international market with an understanding on the sharing formula. What is difficult there?

They dont need to have Cocoa. The Shell of this world didnt have crude oil fields in Netherlands or the UK, yet they use their financial and diplomacy strength to run things in our countries, including allegedly colluding to change governments.

mikeapollo:
The Oyinbo chocolate industry (Europe basically) do not have Cocoa, so they can only negotiate and lobby.
The most important stakeholders Ivory Coast, Ghana and Nigeria need to cooperate to achieve the stated goals.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 2:11pm On Jul 20
FTN Cocoa on full bid. I think it is riding the waves of current news of the Abuja declaration on cocoa processing. I hope West African leaders can stay the course because Oyinbo chocolate industry will fight dirty o. Unfortunately, we lack the national solidarity. Some Nigerians would support foreign interests against their country based on bias.

There are no insults. Just the fact. You shared the news to deride the govt and promote the falsehod that the captives were released and not rescued or released under pressure from the govt. Even if the govt is as bad as you paint it, a broken clock is at least right twice a day.

Perpetual antagonism and viewing your country with disdain is infantile.

Streetinvestor2:
You only made noise without critical reasoning or answered my questions.
On trying that side of insult. You are a learner if I decide to go that way with your in future.. .go and verify

What 'you are missing' is your inability to comprehend the ability of the DSS and inability to give credit to this government because you dont like the people in power.

Streetinvestor2:
You are very smart. And why haven't the security agents been using it to solve all this kidnapping happening all over the country to both large number of people and individuals.Infact we have some of then openly on social media From the narrative in the link I shared The teacher said the people said they are ISWAP .So the government knows the family members of this group and whr they live in nigeria .What am I missing here
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 11:15pm On Jul 16
Jobless US politicians. The number of people unalived through gun violence in their country surpasses the casualty of Nigerian banditary.

I exited Geregu with a 240% capital appreciation. My friend that entred earlier exited at 600% (if i remember correctly). Like most stocks, the clue is in knowing when to enter and when to exit. I'd rather have that than being trapped in Transpower, a company decalring huge profits, paying pittance as dividends while the stock price never appreciates.

deathwing:
You dey smile for Geregu?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 10:01am On Jul 16
I just dont buy Bank stocks for ethical reasons otherwise I would have loaded First Bank stock. I love investing in Ote$ companies. He laughs and makes us smile, unlike some other billionaire...

Obi na real Otondo. Nigeria dodged a bullet in 2023.

Itzlinda:
And today Argentina's Peso is officially worthless.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 5:26pm On Jul 14
Lol. You overhype this your Netanyahoo. If he sure for am make he attack Iran solely and ask its bulldog, the US, to stand down and not interfere, make we check something.

mikeapollo:
Oil prices keep rising because of Iran-US war. I want it to rise higher and higher

When is Iran going to attack Israel na?
Iran was boasting, bragging that it will attack Israel if US should attack Iran. US is now attacking Iran, but Iran is facing Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Jordan etc. instead of Israel. Wetin happen na? Iran don miss road?
Netanyahu is waiting, expecting someone to miscalculate and misfire a missile towards Israel.

Na that time we go know say every madness get im medicine! Israel na your mate?

And crude oil prices go rise again for Aradel, Seplat (I no mention any other company name ooo)

Still, I repeat, a civil forfieture case is NOT a drug trafficking conviction. I rest my case.

HesInMe:
Last comment on this. It's not just a mere allegation; the man forfeited $1.2 million (in today's currency) when investigated for a drug-related offense. If you had clean hands and worked for that money, or legit got it, would you forfeit it?

One state fined me $100 for a traffic offense I thought I didn't commit. If you see how I harassed them eh? Honest people don't forfeit $1.2 million. It is what it is.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 11:01am On Jul 14
You are wrong. I am not defending anyone. I am not even a fan of the president or his brand of politics, but constantly alleging things without prove harms us all when the person in question occupies Aso Rock. Even if it is true, common sense warrants that we dont continually go online to say that about the number 1 citizen as the blowback is on all of us. I am not a fan of Obi, but would never openly abuse him everywhere online if he wins the election next year. For example, in the current fight against SA all their online abuse focused on the sh#t fellow Nigerians routinely peddle online.

It annoys me more when the people peddling these idolize leaders with worse past and ongoing records in other climes.

HesInMe:
Even you sef? I've read your posts; I can tell you're better than this na. Don't let Naija's issues cloud your objectivity.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 10:48am On Jul 14
Again, I ask, if you have evidence of any criminal drug-related conviction kindly show it. Forget all the turenchi.

HesInMe:
There's generally a 5-year statute of limitations for most nonviolent drug offenses. That means the US government can no longer pursue you for an offense committed in the 1990s. Allegedly.

Come on, people. I respect people's personal political choices, but some of these arguments/excuses for certain candidates are so asinine they boggle the mind. The other day, someone was arguing that the no-bid multi-billion dollar coastal highway contract was patriotic and kosher.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 10:29am On Jul 14
Bring your own analogy biko. If there is ever any criminal drug-related conviction for the Niegrian president, kindly show us. You think the US takes drug crimes lightly and Tinubu will be walking free after so many years if indeed there is such criminal case against him? How many sitting or former heads of countries have the US captured, tried and jailed for their roles in drugs trafficking?

Dey play!

mikeapollo:
Lawani, Lawani, Lawani!!!
Why now grin
This your theory/analogy can win Guinness World Record award! Haba!
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 8:37am On Jul 14
'If Iran feels they can fight let them attack the US directly'

What a very juvenile argument grin

Should I also say if the US feels they can fight let them send footsoldiers to Iran. We all know that is the definitve way of defeating the regime. So, why arent troops on their way?

Is Israel fighting with Lebanon, or with Hezbollah? Of what relevance is an agreement with a lame-duck Lebanese government that could not even maintain a military strong enough to kick out the shia milita or stop the IOF from destroying their country? Attacking those countries you mentioned is a strategy of war as they host their enemy's military basis, which are used to attack them. The homurtz and the sitting duck military bases are their own strategic edge in this conflict and if I were them I would leverage it too.

mikeapollo:
This sounds defeatist. If Iran knows they can fight, let tbem attack US directly. The Strait of Hormuz is a diversionary tactic .
Same way they were using Lebanon as an excuse. Fortunately, Israel and Lebanon have reached an agreement brokered by US.
But the fools still went ahead to attack commercial ships in the Strait because they wanted the ships to use the Iranian side of the Strait by force instead of the Omani route.. Now, we shall see the excuses that Iran would give .
Attacking UAE, Qatar , Bahrain, Kywait etc is just stupid.
Why are they not attacking Israel if they know and believe that they can fight? After all, Israel killed most of their leaders and top military generals
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Oasisblue: 8:25am On Jul 14
Lol. All these Nigerian wannabe Israelis amuse me. What happens in the US doesnt concern you but you spend your time here defending tRUMP. The same man that ran on 'No more ways' is now attackign countries across continents and it is okay to you.

By the way, Tinubu is doing mostly waht he promised: fuel susbsidy removed, Naira now on a managed float, etc. It is weird to criticize Tinubu while defending tRUMP. Compared to tRUMP, Tinubu is Mother Theresa!

Who said he wont complete it? he will become a lame duck if he loses the Congress and may be impeached again. If he loses the Senate it would even be worse.

This strait of Hormuz was free to everyone before he started his misadventure in February. Now countries have to either pay a toll to Iran or the US or both, further inflating oil prices.

Streetinvestor2:
So the election will make him not to complete his tenure abi
You too like joke

Wrong assumption. You dont know me. I have consistently supported Omoyele Sowore for Nigeria and the politics of Bernie Saunders for the US, but of course, people like you wont allow these vibrant revolutonaries to get to power.

Streetinvestor2:
And is equally on record that all those your type supported has turned to be a disaster both in usa,Africa and Nigeria .The case of nigeria has been verified with Buhari/Tinubu
The only thing Africa benefited from Obama as someone connected to the region was supporting terrorism and trying to imposed guy ideology to our people.
