Makurdi, Lokoja those places na English. Ilorin na English and bit Yoruba.

Minna, Lafia and Jos.. Hausa is widespread. Ease of communication, doing business and all.

All those places have their indigenous languages which they are very proud of.

Note: I am using capital of the states in Middle Belt.

Is during election that you will know there are proud of their languages .

All other states in North Central can have Muslim/Christian as governor and deputy governor but state like Benue and Plateau will always be Christian/Christian.

Anybody who is choosing a Christian running mate from the overwhelmingly Islamic North is going on a suicide mission. Even Abiola chose a Muslim as running mate when facing a mini me like Tofa. Elections are not contested based on the rules of chivalry.

I didn't like it when he did it, but i understood it. The other option for him was to 100% lose the election.

If Tinubu had chosen a Northern Christian he would definitely have lost the election, so is it that Obidients were hoping that Tinubu would be naive and give them an easier path to victory? As it panned out sef a Christian running mate for Tinubu would have led to an Atiku victory not an Obi victory, so i don't understand all this lamentation.

Tinubu having to choose a Northern Muslim is actually more of an indictment of the North than it is an indictment on Tinubu. He only made the decision after consulting his map and calculator. Every politician should study geography and mathematics.
