The first two pictures were taking during Labour party's rally, the last two APCs rally.

Given how hated Tinubu is in town, you have to admit it was a very decent outing.

Anyway, the youth leader of the area I live who is also a core PDP man told me in confidence that while majority of his fellow party men are voting Tinubu based on Wikes instruction, he will be voting Atiku.

It remains to be seen how many of his type we have.

He also confirmed to me that there is a reward of 1m naira for any ward that delivers Tinubu. Again, it also remains to be seen how much of an effect this promise of money will have on voters especially with the situation of this country.

Fingers crossed cheesy
Wike is so desperate to make a clear statement - that he is in charge of Rivers State.

Dear Lagosians,

I hereby commend your patience and calmness, following the sad controversy generated by the Naira shortage crisis.

I would like to inform you that we have joined the dispute at the Supreme Court, which adjourned the hearing of the matter till Feb 22.

How true is this??

Is the LASG saying it will prosecute people who reject the old notes?
Let's say the Supreme Court compels the CBN to extend the time frame but Emiefele and Buhari(as usual) disregard the judgement...
With commercial banks not accepting the old notes, what will now happen to people who reject the old notes?
Will they be thrown in jail, pay a fine or business license or whatever permit they have stripped...

What if Tinubu doesn't win, what happens to the masses who are in the middle and are being tugged on both sides by the Tinubu faction(governors encouraging their people to keep on using the old notes) and the Buhari faction(CBN)?

So much for the change that some people were sure we would witness with APC despite the antecedents of it's flagbearer in the 80's...
grin

How true? You don't know Gawat? Well he is one of Media Aides of Sanwo-Olu.

I don't understand what you mean by Northerners are not protesting yet.

There is no protest in Lagos, but the governor did not ask people to rebel against the policy.

Nobody obeys laws anymore here because we support disobedience and disorder when it favours us.

Buhari will leave in May. Tinubu will resume office in May

So we should wait till May, and suffer like this because Buhari will eventually leave?
..... as far as old notes remain legal tender in the North, they won't protest. That's my point.

Na why all the governors are doing their best to calm down their population, Na why EL Rufai dey tell him state to continue collecting old notes

The day you outlaw old notes in the North without new notes. Hausas wey be say they are mostly cash based and no transfers

In the North was where I saw that people dont reject even torn notes, In the SOuth where if you money don rough people wont take it, In the North nothing like that
..... you're very correct. Most Fulanis don't get bank accounts. They prefer keeping raw cash same as many Hausas.

Nigeria will be in flames if nothern Governors agree with the policy.

No bank in the North can accept deposits in old notes. You can confirm it if you want.

So when you end up encouraging people to transact in old notes, and they need to buy goods in the South; go to the bank, only to find out that it is useless, what happens?

What you are cheering Elrufai for will eventually end up in more chaos than we are seeing now.

When you spend am till Feb 22, it would still be useless. I expect the governor of a state to be more intelligent that this.
Let's wait and see bro, at least Northerners Northerners ain't protesting yet. Let them keep spending it, Buhari tenure is coming to an end soon, same as Emefiele.

That Policy will be reversed. Keep your old notes well.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 2:53pm On Feb 15, 2023
Sanwo-Olu cut down BRT fares by 50% to avoid crisis. Gbaja introduces free shuttles to support him.

One turtle-head Governor is playing to the gallery and now his State is on fire. This policy is affecting the masses more. Every Governor should speak with one voice against it.

This is no time to playing stupid politics.

Buhari is getting his goal gradually

Once Lagos n North join matter den election no go hold.....oga remain for seat n even declare state of emergency as long as it could take
....that dunce of a Governor una carry power give on a platter of gold is another Buhari. When NGF released a Communique against the Policy, he countered it that he is not part of the Decision.

Same Dimwìt join FG to strike out court case against the Policy at Supreme Court today. I guess he is happy now that his State is burning and people are dying now?

I won't be surprised if he blames it on Oshiomole.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 2:37pm On Feb 15, 2023
Northerners are still spending the old notes, coz their Governors are backing them. Guess Governors that join FG to support the policy? Edo and Bayelsa States.

Benin city is burning, yet Mr. Edo no be Lagos is still supporting the wicked policy.

No going back on Election. Funds will be made available for INEC. Transactions can be done cashlessly, so no Qualms.

Those NUTRW that would move the materials will be paid not in cash. Adhoc Staffs, Corpers that'll be responsible for INEC Activities on Election days will be paid without cash.

Masses will stiil turn out to exercise their franchise and vote only candidate that is speaking against the wicked policy.

Everything is politics to these people, in fact it has turned Do or Die affair. People are suffering coz of the policy, yet its Tinubu’s matter that seems so worrisome to their camp.

With or without Naira in circulation, Tinubu will win, but if at all Tinubu loses eventually, then congratulations to Atiku and the Northerners.

Buhari and Emefiele are heroes of Democracy with the policy...... LMFAO
