APC is making a play towards 2027, Obaseki has always been vociferously anti-APC, there was no way they'd allow him retain the state. Even a day before election, he came on Channels and was slamming them still, for my mind I say this man for try dey tone am down small...Asue Ighodalo was already trying to appeal to Tinubu the Democract to allow a level playing field...in the grand scheme of things, that didn't matter and I guess Obaseki knew.

Governors willing to work with APC down South, they'd probably allow them retain their seats...this is play towards 2027, Soludo is aligned with APC and would allow them have their way so he'd likely be safe. Those Northern votes are not as sure as it was, down South is where it might be and they'd grab states by hook, crook or backroom deals.

He wasn't revolutionary, but I'd take him over any governor the state has had since 1999. It's just sad that the man's coconut head was probably too much and this won him a lot of enemies... probably was hated even before he won first tenure sef, given his family's history with the palace.

PDP gave Osun Adeleke, APC decided that by any means necessary they'd give Edo Monday. This is what complete state capture looks like.

Continue dey clown, a candidate that didn't get 1% of votes cast was inconsequential. At least Edo State elections will prove that all rhose united opposition talks na just yarns, APC would write votes to further whatever narrative they want and win states they're most interested in winning.
