This is all shades of wrong. I can't even see any surgical instruments or evidence of anesthetics. The patient wasn't even draped to indicate an ongoing surgery. Gastrointestinal contents are just left dangling carelessly. Abeg this patient died as a result of her fibroid. It's just an autopsy. Highly unprofessional none the less.

Sir, No one is completely disregarding the possible benefits of herbal medicine,but in the advent of Orthodox medicine which has proven time and time again through standardised trials; why then attempt to use what you cannot reference? We are living in an age of advancements and progression. I guarantee you if, God forbid, you had a sick child herbal medication would not be your first choice,safe except i have misunderstood your level of exposure. If we have found better ways of treating people with results, why do we need to go back to the starting point?

If you believe so much in a brand of herbal medicine, Please do feel free to conduct a standardised trial. Maybe you could discover something useful. but till then let's put away things which are not proven aside.

But in the western world, Dr's are not scared or try herbal options. I was given a tinture made from roots and alcohol by a medical Dr in Switzerland. And it worked!

I agree a lot of drugs are gotten from plants.... The issue with herbal medication in Nigeria lies in the fact they do not undergo any clinical trial for what they claim to cure. Any Tom, Dick and Harry can boil roots and put the extracts in a bottle. The question is does it work? If it does,How does it? What are the possible side effects. Efficacy needs to be guaranteed as it's much better to deal with an illness than to wait for it to tilt to chronic issues all in the name of herbal.The amount of patients i have seen with Acute Kidney Injury from consumption of one or more herbal concoction or the other is alarming. Everything falls under the brand ''herbal'' these days with no documented trials.It's time to move forward with our health. If we are going to do things , it best be done properly.

I'm a doctor and i can boldly tell you no herbal medication will cure your ulcers as they are for the most part caused by a bacteria (helicobacter pylori).
Even people who don't treat ulcers feel relieved at one point or the other albeit temporarily. So do not be deceived herbal medication will solve your problem. What you need is proper eradication. If you'd like to know more you can PM me.

Hi,as a Doctor i'm sad to hear your friend is going through this. i'm quite surprised to hear it costs a lot though considering it's asthma. Asthma cannot necessarily be cured,some people outgrow it,some don't,it can be however be effectively controlled for with the right medication. PM me for more info.

Due to the massive population pressure on core courses in the country,this has created a difficulty in gaining admission into our federal schools,now students have found a new hope, Ukraine,where students get to choose their own courses and with the lowest prices in Europe.
