On the 30th day of January, 2019 at around 11 a.m, Mozambique Queens of this great institution led a protest to the Division of Students' Affairs, OAU. The reason being that a male student was earlier found collecting grey water from the hall.



The male student - Rabiu Olalere Musa is a final year student of the department of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering. And it is a common knowledge that all final year students are to undergo a research project. Mr. Rabiu is not an exception. His project topic is :"CHARACTERIZATION AND REUSE OF GREYWATER IN OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY HOSTELS" and he is being duly supervised by a senior lecturer in the department. This requires that he goes to all halls of residence in the school to collect greywater to use to carry out this project and in realizing this, he headed to the Division Of Students Affairs to learn how to gain access to the greywater. He was asked to write a letter which he did and there's a copy for everyone who wants to see. He informed the porters of the halls and showed them the approved letter from the DSA and his request was granted.



It must be said however that today is not the first time he's collecting the greywater from the halls without an hitch.

As we all know you cannot offer a special elective from your own faculty. Moreover, there are specific electives that you are not allowed to chose.
Below are the electives and some talks on them:
SER 001(use of english) is a compulsory elective which you have to pass.
SEA 001&002: Hosted by the faculty of admin it’s about administration(I don’t really now much but it’s many people’s favorite (at least before the results started having problems) because all you have to do is pay for and attend the field trip. But my friend, once you don’t pay for field trip forget it, you’ve wasted your time
SEO 001, 003, 002 & 004: Faculty of social sciences. It’s about human behaviour.
SEG 001&002: Faculty of agric. It’s also a field trip elective. Same principle as in SEA 001.
SEL 001 & 002: Faculty of law. Man, if you’re the type that likes stress, this is for you. Introduction to law is an elective for which you have to attend classes because there are usually a lot of assignments. But nevertheless, you’ll enjoy the classes. I did the 002, didn’t attend a single class, and I’m not expecting more than 45 despite studying hard for the exam.
