I see his passion however I want him to know that his commission is compromised already. His prosecutors and lawyers and intentionally creating loopholes in investigations, those investigators are the ones that will still tell accused persons what to do so the case can be thrown out eventually.
Also why was he even giving him preferential treatment in the first place.. Ofcourse the ex governor knows u are willing to to accord him extra respect and preferential treatment, that was the reason for his behaviour. If you were firm and professional from the beginning, we may not be here. Why invite him to your office for some sort of protection, na so e dey start, so they will investigate him from ur office, and e dun dey call u my brother already, una friendship dun start...na so e dey start

However, Ihedioha lamented recent developments within the party, stating that it has deviated from its core principles. He voiced concerns over the party’s inability to enact internal reforms, uphold its own regulations, and effectively oppose the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)

Man leaves PDP over his party's inability to effectively oppose ruling APC , watch him join the same APC in coming weeks.. Naija politicians are wild

angry... Not that im defending these Chinese people, but I've been to China and I know their tradition, Chinese people are extremely discreet, they don't like sharing anything with you. That's why they live in clusters, Chinatown. You hardly see Chinese people intermingle with commoners. And they do it to everyone including Europeans not just blacks alone. I think it's an Asian thing.
I believe why the restricted Nigerians there is fear of their safety, because from the report it started January this year and it was this January that dollars started skyrocketing and food stuffs increased astronomically. So they feared that Nigerians might want to loot their shops or do something sinister to them..

this one no follow, they are discrete, they dont like to mingle BUT they can come into d country to make money. If they dont want to mingle, they should remain in beijin or wuhan or wherever in their country. the only where within the boundaries of Nigeria where they can practice that nonsense is inside their consulate

BBC have a lot of problems to talk about in the society where they operate from. They should leave us to deal with our issues our own way
Religion / Re: Chris Oyakhilome's Malaria Vaccine Conspiracy Theories By BBC by obaidan: 7:17pm On Apr 21
I know Oyakhilome can be funny most times, but on this lets face it, what is the difference between Chris Oyakhilome and BBC in amplifying conspiracy theories.
And yes Oyakhilome asked the right question, how did they get the malaria fatality number. The only thing that is wrong with Africa as a continent, the west will never admit ...... providing a safe haven for African leaders to run to and invest stolen funds is the problem of Africa

To assume there was ever a competition between them is exaggerating Toyin. Quite alright Toyin appears to be the more pleasant human being BUT then when we talk movies and and career, Toyin should put herself in the same box with some other people, definitely not Funke Akindele.

You have a point, but how does the government in power stop former NCC, FIRS etc officials from being absorbed into MTN. I give Reno accolades because alot of persons didn't know this. If you are going to be objective, u would agree that an awful lot of his discoveries are very relevant to governance.
The government of the day doesn't need to stop anybody from becoming chairman of MTN or what have you. What the government of the day needs to do is to run their own regulatory framework to the benefit of the people. See anybody can be chairman of MTN, once the the people managing the regulatory agency(at d momemt) are doing a proper job. It doesn't matter who is chairman of MTN.

I have never praised Tinubu, but I don't think Obi would have been any better. Look at Soludo, his records are there for all to see. Tinubu had good antecedents in lagos, he has been president for a year. We will judge him after his tenure.
Can you stop getting yourself obsessed about Obi. Tinubu is president, let's discuss our president and leave obi out of this. No one is judging him here but this Reno statement doesn't make sense and he really hope you will realize it soon. Government is the regulator. U blame the head of government that appointed the person running the regulatory agency. The people voted the president to run their affairs, not the head of NCC. The people did not vote head of FIRS. I can't give u a job, give u the liberty to organize ur team, then absolve u of blames when ur team member fails. Voters will blame Tinubu, it is Tinubu that should be blaming regulators by sacking the heads if they are not doing their jobs.
Please forget this Obi matter for a while. Rest and drink plenty water, focus on who is ruling you now.

Just 1 question for you. The regulators that Reno talked about, who do they report to. Who appoints the head of those regulatory agencies? Please answer

Who regulates if not the government?

Reno is seriously sick in the head, dude is a lunatic in fact. No wonder he and his brother are running around raping minors
Reno is not sick, u already know what Reno is doing. It is hediots here thinking Reno is making sense that are actually sick because the wildest thing I have heard in my life is anyone separating regulators like NCC, FIRS from government. These are instruments with which the government coordinate the affairs of the people, but somehow people here think they are different from government

This man should return to government in some capacity, his analysis is spot on and easy for the layman to comprehend
Wtf which analysis. Analysis that regulatory agencies(not government) should be blamed? Let me ask you a question, do you know who the regulatory agencies represent, do you know who they work for, do you know who they represent. Do you know who appoints them. Do you know who fires them.
If u apply to run a company, and u tell ur recruiter u have an excellent team that will do the job with you, then u get the job, if the company goes down, who will answer for this? You or the team u assembled.

This guy slow. Are regulators not part of government?
The primary agenda is to defend the head of government and people that should sack the failing management of regulatory agencies. Sadly when you want to defend the indefensible, there will always be a casualty, in this case, it's his ability to reason intelligently that is the casualty. Reno knows what he's doing, the sacry part are the people here that can't see what Reno is doing

ShootThemAll:

Hmmm... I wanted to use harsh words on you, had to calm myself down grin. I don't like Reno at all, but I will tell you outright, 9ja regulators are one of our main problems. Example, NCC, I remember when Etisalat started doing unlimited data for 3k, MTN had to reduce theirs immediately to 2.5k and was data capped @100gig per month. WhenMTN noticed majority are no longer patronising they used NCC, to regulate data sales, using range of data to a certain amount. Imagine, if the data range sales is not there, there will be competition just the way we have with Airpeace flying to London and other international airlines.

Same applies to our Disco's, NERC is colluding with them to fix price. Example where my parents resides in Nigeria, I just noticed they are on Band C, but for year's I've been buying units for them, I do buy at Band A rates. Are you trying to tell me NERC is not aware of it.

I think you should calm down, drink a glass of water, breathe in breathe out and read carefully so that u can comprehend. We are not saying regulators are not the problem. What we are telling you is that saying regulators are the problem and not the government signifies that the person does not know that the government is the regulator. Reno trying to distinguish regulators from government shows his agenda is to defend the head of government. NCC NERC are govt regulatory agencies, u did not vote NCCand NERC head to make your life better. U voted president who appointed and can change head of those regulatory agencies if they are not fit. Blame who u should blame if things go wrong. Stop insulating the people u love from blames when they deserve some. I hope you get it a little bit now

why are you highlighting ur illiteracy. where is the sense in what Reno said...he said regulators are to be blamed, not government, then he goes ahead to mention FIRS, NCC, Ministry of Info as those regulators. Even u rightly mentioned regulators as NERC CPC INEC PPMC DPR. Do you not see that it is the highest form of illiteracy to posit that government is not the regulator a lot of una need elementary social studies and government tutorial

Mastermindfixu:
My girlfriend and I have been together a little over a year, and it's always been rocky. We've broken up many times (almost always me with her) but then we end up back together in a few days.
She has never hit me until today, and then suddenly slapped me after she held my shirt and pinned me against the wall. FYI - I did nothing to her in retaliation . However, I feel pained and disappointed by her action.

Reason - she saw me with a lady who was supposed to apply for the post of a chef at our residence and thought I was having an affair .

I explained myself and next best thing she said to me was that she is done with the relationship.

What do I do?
