EducationIs This A Waste Of Time? by OBALORLA(op): 10:57pm On Dec 01, 2013
After carefully observing the buildings around the axis where I reside(egbe idimu l.c.d.a). I observed that majority of the houses(about 75%) there belonged to people who had very little or no education at all.
A closer study revealed further that 20% of the remaining 25% are owned by literates while the remaining 5% were inherited by literate peeps from their parents.
The data above(just based on personal observation though) to me indicates that while the peers of these illiterate folks were busy at school, they(the illiterates) weighted the opportunity cost and so decided to face their crafts/trades. Which turned them into house-owners whom fresh graduates now in turn rent houses from for a long period of time.
My question now is:
Is schooling (higher institution to be precise) in this part of the world(nigeria) a waste of time'?

Segeggs: Ill bliss doesnt have a record label.

Don jazzy has been exposed, renamed baby jazzy.

banky W is what a boss should look like.
I thought the capital goretti(not sure of d spelling)company is being managed by d duo of clarence peters and illbliss.
CelebritiesRe: Who's The Better Boss: Illbliss Or Don Jazzy? by OBALORLA(op): 2:02pm On Nov 24, 2013
mankand: Illbis or whatever his name is, is not a boss, he is only trying to imitate the American rap artist Rick Ross, he is just another episode of bull shit.

Comparing him to Don jazzy is like comparing Bojan to ozil.
U're mean o!
CelebritiesWho's The Better Boss: Illbliss Or Don Jazzy? by OBALORLA(op): 11:26am On Nov 24, 2013
Jst watching d mtv base and saw a video titled 'emini baller': illbliss and chidima and later another one titled 'without my heart' : don jazzy and tiwa savage. Immediately I recollected dat both males(ill and don) are bosses in their respective labels, so I tried to figure out who's got dat charisma and all other requirements of a boss but all to no avail.
I wouLd like fellow nairalanders whom are aware of dis fact too to please help me make the picture clearer by giving reasons for their gestures. Thanks

PoliticsCan Nigeria Ever Become A Developed Country In Our Era? by OBALORLA(op): 12:41pm On Aug 12, 2013
I don't think twice in any exam before listing Nigeria among the third-world countries. What I don't know now is how soon we are going to move away from the zone(developing country)?

... Or is there anything Like the FOURTH-WORLD COUNTRIES?

Maybe that's where we belong. huh
CelebritiesRe: Dagrin: 3 Years After by OBALORLA(m): 11:14pm On Apr 22, 2013
If M.I had died immediately after his previous album,we might b writing similar stuffs about him too(coz as at den m.I was naija's no.1).but assuming dagrin were to be alive, he might av gone out of favour(don't 4get wat happened 2 lord of ajasa the inventor of d yoruba rap)

Olamide to me is a versatile rapper who has been able to clearly distinguish btwn himself and dagrin (unlike d copycat called darsaw)with his intelligent control of english, yoruba, igbo ,d at tyms hausa. .left for me,dagrin was very good but now dat he's gone,we'vegat a new messiah(in olamide)coz I av even listened to his song b4 d demise of d soul legendary(OLAITAN).

Christianity EtcRe: Is There Any Relationship Between Success And Religion? by OBALORLA(op): 11:28am On Oct 27, 2012
what i av observed overtime is that the poor tend to b more spiritual and at the end still get angry at the rich unbelievers[to them{the poor},the wealth of the rich folks is not from a holy source........this has really been a major problem in our society.
Christianity EtcIs There Any Relationship Between Success And Religion? by OBALORLA(op): 11:51pm On Oct 25, 2012
......coz i see many rich unbelievers and as well as very poor strong believers.
