Patrol team of frsc Igboukwu was attacked while on patrol this afternoon along Igbo-ukwu/OGA road around 2:45 pm today.
Two personnell were confirmed dead while one was injured and another one was alive.
This act is so barbaric as they pose no threat to these gunmen who just wish to show their forces on a non security organization.

report reaching us says FRSC top management team could not meet up with payment of personnel allowance despite funds release to them by the INEC.
Investigation into the matter revealed that the top management diverted the money into what they termed TRAINING OF PERSONNEL ON ELECTORAL DUTIES in disguise while the fund was actually pocketed.

So far, other sister agencies have been duly paid and dispatched to their various place of assignments, but it is not the case with the corps.

A member of the corps who pleaded anonymity said, he cannot use his personal money for the exercise seeing his counteperts in other organisations already paid.

We request relevant authorities to wage in and investigate accordingly as this is becoming a reoccurring issue with the management of FRSC: embezzlement of personnel allowances - Special patrol allowance, Transfer allowance etc.
