Well, its because its outside campus and demand is high/supply is Low. I know u did economics. So Price increases.

Bt if u want a crib @ other places its around 30-50K per annum ( 1 room/self contain)

@ leather research, rooms there are around 70-100k
@ Area C, G, F. Pple give out their BQ for 40-50k per annum.
Bt those houses directly opposite the gate
Is more costly because of demand. A friend of mine (and his 3 other friends) as Of last year rented a self contain there @ 120k and Not Like the Place make serious sense sef.

I would advice students to rent BQ @ Area G,F,C or Area A (inside campus) because its more secure and cheaper sef.
