they keep telling you international organizations prefer to establish in their country because they are a hub. i laugh when i hear that. the reason such organizations are going there, especially the chinese ones like the cgtn is because they (the chinese), pretty much own the country now. alot of that debt is owed to the chinese and to make matters worse for them, they are what the chinese call the belt road countries. so ctgn going there is more like their home away from home they are going to. otherwise what sense does it make for a global media to choose Kenya as its base over looking Naija and SA?

global media organizations like that when considering where they want to set up their base look out for these things: population, infrastructure, economic strength, cultural projection. all of which Kenya lags heavily behind SA not to talk of Nigeria
