We have brainwashed ourselves so much that we think our local languages are useless. A day will come in your life when you will regret of not be able to speak your language. When we speak English and make mistakes, some people will begin to make jest and laugh. They will even blame the type of education you receive. Unfortunately many of us make so many mistakes while speaking our own dialects. To me people ought to have made jest of you when you make mistakes when speaking your own language. Many of us cannot speak nor write in our native languages. When I see the way people write Yoruba language on Facebook, I shake my head.
