There's an important aspect of yoruba culture that I want to know more and want researchers to work on is ifa oracle. This is practiced in all Yoruba communities from Kogi to Kwara down to oyo, Osun, ogun,ekiti and Lagos. The same ifa is also practiced in Benin Republic and Edo State. It's practiced in Ghana and Togo too.
I also came across a paper where it is written that Islamic marabouts also use the same method in consultation. They they don't call it ifa. They use sand while Yoruba use Osun ( camwood powder) But the same procedure.
