It dropped. Almost all banks sold shares around 2005- 2008. Immediately after selling their shares, the stock fell till today. It fell yakata.
There were some bank shares I bought around that time too but today there are no more and nothing for the shareholders. Instead of shares you your money to buy land. I spent around 120,000 around that period to buy shares nothing to show for it. Citizen bank gone, Skye Bank gone, Daar Communication is as useless as tissue paper, Union Bank value gone down. It's only Fidelity is is still remains for me even at a low value.

It may not double at all. In 2006 I bought Union Bank shares worth 40,000 Naira, today the value is around 12,000

I bought the same shares at that time I think I bought something around 3,000 units. I don't even know the value now. Bu my certificate dey kampe..I checked unclaimed dividend too, I saw my name there.
