ALLNIGERIANSMAD:
The pop guy is plane stupid oh, he would have simply report the client to police, now he will be compell to pay for the materials and the client will pay the balance, before he can do that he will be remanded in police custody
Who do you think the police will take sides with in this matter, him or the owner of the house?
PropertiesRe: Man Destroys POP Ceiling As Client Refuses To Pay Balance (Video) by Obierika(m): 4:36pm On Jul 27, 2024
ElevationD:
Absolutely wrong of him. He made a very wrong move. Now be owes the man a refund of the initial deposit and possibly including any damage done to any other part of the house in the process of his anger.

The customer was very insensitive, which is common with too many people. You hire someone to do a job and refuse you pay him his charges in full for one flimsy excuse or the other. Again, you want to enjoy the benefits of the services done and still bluff your way out. That’s one reason why many people are harmed.

As for the workman, he should have reported the matter to the police and if rejected, he would have proceeded to the citizens human rights people in the local governments in Lagos, with evidence of all that transpired. The matter would be sorted out.
So you expect him to use the time he should spend doing other jobs to be jumping from police station to human rights office?

edwardadex23:
Hello house,

I have some funds but not yet up to the amount I need for a project at the moment,I am contemplating on what to do with it at the moment, Is it advisable I buy gold for keeps and then sell it later on when I need back the money instead of it just lying in the bank and depleting in value everyday huh

I will appreciate some inputs please.

Thanks.
If you have never done this business before and you do not know the difference between original and fake gold it's better for you to stay away from this business
BusinessRe: NNPC Confirms Fuel Scarcity In Lagos, FCT by Obierika(m): 3:07pm On Jul 27, 2024
Throwback:
Why Tinubu is still keeping the current set of executives in NNPC, calls for concern from all Nigerians.

As someone opined previously, the first 2 levels of executives / senior managers in NNPC need to go to rejig that agency/company.
You can't just wake up and sack all of them in one fell swoop!

He was to be the next Governor of Anambra following his endorsement by the entire people of Anambra state.

I feel bitter that till now Peter Obi has not said a word just cos Ifeanyi Ubah never endorsed Obi nor supported him.

Peter obi is a pretender and a wicked soul.
You and who endorsed him to be the next governor of Anambra State?!

BusinessRe: Senate Increases Banks’ Windfall Levy To 70% by Obierika(m): 6:47pm On Jul 24, 2024
vanitybutiwanti:
As usual go through the comment section and see ignorant Nigerians talking about things they know nothing about, Banks made trillions from Forex doing nothing, heck they were even instructed not to declare profit made from FX in their books, you expect government to fold their arms and watch greedy banks that do not lend money to SMES cart away with trillions for adding almost zero value, dlthe forex belongs to the CBN, it was not earned by adding value to Nigeria.

70% is even fair, it should be increased to 90%
What about banks and other companies who had exposure to foreign exchange denominated loans and suffered exchange losses as a result of the devaluation, how does the government intend to remedy their situation?
BusinessRe: Senate Increases Banks’ Windfall Levy To 70% by Obierika(m): 6:40pm On Jul 24, 2024
Reignned:
The Bill now prescribes that any bank that fails to pay the windfall levy to the federal Inland RRevenueService and has not executed the deferred payment agreement shall be liable to pay a windfall levy not remitted in addition to a fine of 10% of the levy withheld or not remitted er annum and interest at the prevailing Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Minimum Rediscount Rate (MMR).
Make them go collect am make we see!

If you tax banks due to exchange gains will you also give them credit for the foreign exchange losses they incurred as a result of their exposure to forex loans?
