I made that statement just to know how Semid4lyfe would react and guess what, he didn't disappoint.
He's still bearing unnecessary and useless grudges over the last quarrel we had in The Movie Club topic.
So, that's why he's talking trash about who is movie guru and who is not. grin

Transformers 3 just had good visual effects. But overall, the movie wasn't fantastic.

Its the same film company that made FIREPROOF also produced FACING THE GIANTS. All I can say is they both had different themes but a central message of putting God first in everything we do. FIREPROOF had a better story anyway.

A WALK TO REMEMBER is not a Christian film. The film is based on the Nicholas Sparks romance novel of the same name.

I dey fear your assumptions at times.
There are lots of films which are not documentaries with very high scores on Rotten Tomatoes:

- The Breakfast Club (1985)
- Aliens (1988)
- Do the Right Thing (1989)
- The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
- Memento (2000)
- The Dark Knight (2008)
- Iron Man (2008)
- Star Trek (2009)
- Toy Story trilogy
- True Grit (2010)
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 (2011)
- The Lord of the Rings trilogy

They are so many. I can't list them all.

THE HIT LIST starring Cuba Gooding Jr was released direct-to-DVD earlier this year.
It was lame no doubt. It should have been much better.

atleast them dey try make films people appreciate all world round
how many we get? if any at all?
@amblors
Indian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese films are far better than Nigerian films.
Despite that, their are still people (mostly Nigerians) that watch and appreciate Nigerian films.

^^SACRIFICE?!?!?! Cuba Gooding's last flop?!
damn, the plot was weak, the acting was weak (especially the Asian lady boss and the son of the top boss) and the end was extra lame!

semid4lyfe:
Green Lantern [2011]. . .and I thought Thor [2011] was bad. undecided' Maybe all these Superhero movies should be made as Cartoons. A waste of my time and I wish I could take back the almost two hours I used watching it. 4/10[/i]

THOR (2011) was very good (7.5/10), Green Lantern was below average (4/10).

Thats my rating.[/quote]@Abbey_TJ & semid4lyfe

The good superhero films this year are: X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER.

THOR wasn't so good.

@amblors
"3 Idiots" and "My Name is Khan" were really good Indian films. But that doesn't stop the fact that their are still wack Indian films out there.

semid4lyfe:
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon [2000]. . .Epic Chinese martial arts film with a good plot, lots of flying stunts, sword fighting etc . Na my kind film be this so no long thing. . . 8.5/10 kiss
