Family / Re: "My Husband's Pride Wants To Ruin Our Home" The True Story by obiwigan21(m): 9:19am On Jul 23, 2018
Acidosis:

The marriage was built on a faulty foundation: The idea of my money, your money, I will spend my money on this, you will spend your own on that . weakened the marriage. No love relationship can function on that platform. It is a mere partnership, and partnerships are bound to break someday.

For some selfish reasons (not love), a lot of couples have embraced this system. This is not entirely bad as far as OP and his spouse share the same ideology about marriage and properties.

As far as marriage is concerned in my own school of thought, all receipts must be in the name Mr. & Mrs (except those gotten before marriage). It doesn't matter who bought them or who paid the children's school fees, it doesn't matter whether you married a sit at home wife or a career woman.

If my wife decides to embrace some selfish interests or make plans for my demise, then she's merely wasting her time. In my lineage, only my grandfather died "prematurely" at age 96. The house he left behind is currently wasting away cos grandmom at age 95+ don't need it anymore. All she does now is sleep and eat. The only way a selfishly acquired property would meet the intended purpose is when a spouse die prematurely (- now this is the message we preach).

@OP, whether in her name or not, if you both see yourselves together in year 2070, there wouldn't be a fight in the first place. However to avoid issues of any form, buy everything in the name - Mr & Mrs and save your marriage.

You are rather the only one who made sense here!
Nigeria is dead because both our system and the Govt have failed us. And also because of our stupid African mentality...
Here in Europe, any property bought by either the wife or husband is automatically owned by the couple, so far the property was bought after the marriage..... How can a wife, build a house.. YES, with her own money and put only her name when she is still married That's insane! And yes no man should have a property that is only in his name if he is married.... For the fact they made money together and decided to use part of the money to help the man's parents and the other half to build a house dosent give the lady the right to put the property in her name.... The couple should be one and have each other's back... The man might be in the position to help the wife's parents tomorrow... And so he should '' loan'' her the money from ''his" money to help her parents?? The lady should go and apologize to the man and change the documents to both of their names immediately.... If my wife dose this at my back... I will divorce her immediately

I am based in Europe with my wife... a white lady and we are planning to go for vacation in Abidjan. I want some little info on the area we can stay and places to visit. we would like to rent an apartment instead of staying in a hotel as it will be a 2 - 3 months vacation. And the primary aim of the Vac is for the sun and the beach!

Travel / Will He Get Ban If He Applies For UK Visa After Over 10 Years ?? JUSTWISE! HELP by obiwigan21(m): 12:37pm On May 14, 2018
Hello Nairalands..... Please can you guys help me with an answer.....
A friend of mine applied for UK student visa in 2007, 11 years ago, he was refused the visa based on insufficient funds in his account.
Fast forward 2018... He is married to an European lady and he live with his wife in Europe with his 5 years residence permit. They have been married for 6 years now.
The problem now is when he applied for the for UK visa 11 years ago, he used a different name and different date of birth on that passport and he was thumb printed... Now the name and date of birth in his current passport is different from what he used that time.
He wants to go for a wedding with his wife in Uk and he is not sure if there will be a problem if he applies now for visa with his current passport
I appreciate your inputs guys
Thanks!!!

Where I can protect the lady undecided

Do I know the lady or do I seem to be playing your ridiculous childish gender play. I am a boy so I defend boys or I am girl, so I defend girls undecided

The issue here is all about SEX. He should have made that crystal clear instead of talking about the abortion and stillbirth because how are those topics even related to each other.

And where the hell did he in his whole write up claim she gave SEVERAL men sex. She came back quite loose, so what? Does that mean it's a must for her to have sex with him. How is love even equal to sex?

My problem with the op is, he is talking about a super super secret, whining about a stillbirth and an abortion when his real problem is "sex"

You are daft... I mean very dumb. The girl doesn't love the op, that's why she has always denied him sex... When a sexually active lady meets a guy she loves, she can't wait to have sex with the guy... is that part very difficult for you to understand??
Ask your self this question... Are you going to deny your bf that you love sex and then come and have sex with me?? Really?? The op should not marry the girl not because of the stillbirth, but because she doesn't love him...

Romance / Guys In The House.... Was I Too Hard On This Babe?? by obiwigan21(m): 12:40pm On Oct 09, 2016
Ok, guys, my story is this..... I am based in Europe, so the last time i came into Naija in 2012, i met this pretty babe... We have known each other since beginning of 2011 via face-book, so we met for the first time in 2012 when i came in. This babe is very pretty and i really liked her a lot!, but the problem is that she has a very serious boyfriend then and because of that we couldn't date. I went back to my base and we still remain very good friends. She tells me everything in her relationship and all that. Finally she broke up with her boyfriend and it was a very bad breakup that hurt her so much and probably because that i guess she joined the bad girl click, called naija runz girls.... but i did not know about her change in behaviour.... Fast forward to June this year, i came back again to Nigeria and apart from the contract i came to seal, she was one of the main reasons i came back.... I really had very good intention towards her.... i brought with me a lot of gifts for her and i always call her on the phone and send almost every day nice romantic text messg. and i told her so many times on the phone how much i missed her and cant wait to be with her again.
She is based in Owerri, but i flew in into Lagos and i had to fix some little things in Lagos , before moving to Owerri to meet her. While i was in Lagos, i started noticing some things about her.... one day she called me and said a courier from Konga and Jumia will be bringing some stuffs for to my hotel and i should pay them 50k for the stuffs and she will take them from me when i come in.... Well, 50k, is not really big amount, i was like she should have discussed this with me 1st before sending some random courier guys to bring something to my hotel and i have to pay for them too. Well, to cut long story short, i paid for her stuffs and i brought them with me to meet her in Owerri. When i got into my hotel in Owerri, i called her to come and she came with 4 other girls and though i was very tired after my flight, she pushed me to take her and her friends out.... This babes ate like they have never eaten before.... they ordered everything they could lay their eyes on and even some take away too. Finally, after her friends have gone, we were alone in my hotel room, and we got talking... She told me that she is not interested to have a relationship with me... that all she wants is just fun. i was very disappointed to hear this from her, because, i really like her and i wanted something more than just fun with her.... I tried to explain to her about my good intentions towards her, and she keep saying, all men are same, i dont want to have any relationship with you.... Then she said, i know that you want to sleep with me, but before you touch me, you will take me to a shop where i want to buy cloths and i will pick whatever i want and then you can fuxk me after.... i got pissed up after i heard that from her and i said well, its already late now, so we will go tomorrow but meanwhile, i tried to play with her and touch her, and she pushed me away and said, you will touch me after i have bought what i want to buy tomorrow.... Then i lost it.... i left alone through out that night and when we woke up in the morning, i asked her to leave my room that i am going out.... and she asked me what about the stuffs i bought for her from Lagos... I told i have changed my mind and i will not give it to her, i even showed her other good stuffs i brought for her from Europe, but i refused to give her any of them.... She got so upset, she cursed me and abused me and then she defrined me from fb and blocked on whatzapp.... So guys, if you were in my shoes... will you do same??
