raumdeuter: Mexico disappointed at Carrier agreement to keep jobs in US
MEXICO CITY (AP) — Officials in the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon expressed disappointment Wednesday at Carrier Corp.'s announcement it will keep hundreds of jobs in the United States rather than send them south of the border.
Carrier said it had made a deal with President-elect Donald Trump to keep the jobs at its plant in Indiana.
Carrier currently operates one plant in Nuevo Leon and has built but not yet occupied another one there as part of a planned $200 million expansion.
"The implications are very serious, not only for Nuevo Leon, but for Carrier," Sen. Marcela Guerra said. http://www.cnbc.com/2016/11/30/the-associated-press-mexico-disappointed-at-carrier-agreement-to-keep-jobs-in-us.html Trump means business, already making significant moves. |

mojeer678: We shouldn't report one side of the news nah, let's balance things a bit, alright?
Pennsylvania blocked Stein JUDGE THREW IT OUT OF COURT!
As most people are still trying to figure out exactly what Jill Stein is doing and why she's doing it, a judge in Montgomery County Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia, has decided he's seen enough. After hearing arguments from attorneys representing Jill Stein's campaign and the Montgomery County Board of Elections, Judge Bernard A. Moore dismissed the petitions of voters in 78 precincts to recount votes or forensically analyze voting machines due a lack of evidence and improperly filed petitions. Per The Times Herald of Montgomery County:
"What we keep going back to is that our voting machines are not connected to the internet," said board of elections Solicitor Nicole Forzato. "Montgomery County takes great, great pride in being concerned about its infrastructure for IT generally, and they have gone through a vigorous process to make sure our technology general, including voter services technology and the voting machines are safe and secure to use."
MY COMMENT: As I said (after I figured it was too late) Jill Stein had to get over 25,000 petition signatures for the recount. In the end, it was harder to do than even I thought. Pennsylvania has an immune system. For that reason and more, they did not even hear her case, they just gave her the boot!
Montgomery county has a population of 812,000 people. This was a MAJOR rejection!
See: http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com/2016/11/30/judge-denies-stein-campaign-request-for-recount-in-montgomery-county/
AND THIS:
Wisconsin hand recount formally rejected "Madison - Green Party candidate Jill Stein paid $3.5 million Tuesday to clear the way for Wisconsin's presidential vote recount but had a judge reject her lawsuit to require all Wisconsin counties to do the recount by hand.
Dane County Circuit Judge Valerie Bailey-Rihn said the effort to force the hand recount - which was backed by Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign - did not meet the state's legal standard for prohibiting the use of machines in the recount, saying that the two campaigns did not show a hand recount, though more thorough, was necessary or show there was a clear and convincing evidence of fraud or other problems.
Bailey-Rihn said there were good reasons to do a hand recount but no legal basis for her to mandate it.

You and your likes are very intolerant to opposing views, whoever disagrees with you is branded a racist and a xenophobe. At least we saw that play out during the campaign. ValerianSteel: It appears you've been named head of Disinformation,Distortion and Distraction Bureau.
Facts don't matter to you guys.
First off,no one made stopped Bernie Sanders from getting the nomination. That's a lie that has been debunked but still being peddled around.
I've said it here time and again,Bernie Sanders lost the nomination by 4million votes. The DNC never liked him, they connived behind everyone's back with strategies to attack his character and tried to find skeletons in his closet.
Guess what,Hillary had the same GOP opposition reasearch but she never went after Sanders like Obama did against her in '08.Her focus once she was the clear front runner was to run against Donald.Sanders had a campaign free of smear campaign from Hillary.
Please be reminded, there was no effort, absolutely none that you can prove that shows that the DNC stopped Sanders from getting the nomination, none at all. They didn't like him and they were sneaky behind but none of their email exchanges or backdoor chatters affected the Sanders campaign because he was not attacked and it didn't affect voters from voting.
Sanders lost by 4million votes.Obama lost the popular vote to Hillary in the Democratic primary in 08 even though he was the nominee.Sanders didn't even come close to Hillary's '08 performance.
You can call me a sore loser all you want but I'all continue to point to you that the man you do glorify for running an anti-establishment campaign has failed and backtracked on every of his promises. He promised to drain the swamp but apparently he's picking directly from the swamp.
You still don't get it right?Explain why he would be considering Patraeus for a cabinet position or any position at all? Says d chief mourner. Cry on. |

His cabinet is worth $35billion filled with the same crocs and gators at the helm of government collapse in the United States.Facts mean nothing to Trump supporters and he has no faults definitely but sorry he's a con artist and he's currently in bed with the top lobbyist and special interest in Washington. ValerianSteel: Republicans are nervous about the recount. You would think they'd support the recount to justify the 'legitimacy' of Trump's win instead of that they are speaking out against it.
A process to establish the sanctity of American democracy should never be a cause of problem for either party.Even if the results are unchanged, more than ever now,I support an audit and recount. I think u are d one dat has been nervous since d election night. Moreover, Trump's statement is spot on, u guys said he should accept d result of d election, so accept it. Whatever recount is done now is an exercise in futility. |

Timbuktuo: How is it surreal? Did you not know before results were announced, even before election day, that this is how the EC works? Wasn't the electoral college designed for just such a time as this? Wasn't the idea for there to be a balance and ensure fair representation? If you propel did not like this thing since you should have spoken up o. The head is off, and it's too late to cry.
Instead of all this recounting business, wasting time and money on irrelevancies, you and your people should be campaigning for the abolishments of the EC. Dis is d same democrats dat insisted that Trump must accept d result of the election, the same folks dat claimed dat Hillary had d 270 EC in d bags and that Trump had no chance. In one of d panel debates at CNN they concluded that d least thing Trump would achieve was to win d popular votes, but would never get near d 270 EC VOTES. |

Jill Stein is just capitalizing on the outrage among Hillary supporters just to stay relevant for now, of course she's a Clinton surrogate just acting on behalf of her ally. I call this the Bargaining stage, and when it eventually fails and yields nothing, d next stage d liberals would find themselves would be total 'depression', and then final acceptance of Trump as their President. The post election drama ends and a new era begins. |

ValerianSteel: I've been following news all day of reports prompting Hillary to trigger a recount in Wisconsin,Pennsylvania and Michigan. No response from Hillary or the DNC.
Jill Stein has filed for a recount in these three states,as of this moment has raised $450k out of the $2million needed to begin the process.
I'm not saying the election was rigged in these states but I support the recount,it guarantees the sanctity of our voting system.Seeing how close the race was especially in Michigan where it's .3% I'd say anything could have gone wrong.Let's see what comes out of it. Don't worry, another heart attack is on d way, since u have decided not to sleep well since d election night. I like that u mentioned Wisconsin, the state Hillary Clinton did not even visit to campaign since she won d primaries there. Why is Clinton not championing for a Recount? She knows it's gonna backfire real time, perhaps those illegal aliens dat voted for her would be fished out. |
