Jim Acosta finally gets the boot as White House suspends his Press Pass.
The White House on Wednesday evening suspended CNN reporter Jim Acosta’s White House press room pass after a combative exchange with President Trump in which he refused to give up the microphone and wrangled with a female intern trying to take it back.

“President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

“This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question.”

She continued:

President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history. Contrary to CNN’s assertions, there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not being supportive of a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of an hour and a half – including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it is an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration. As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice.

The exchange happened Wednesday afternoon as the president was giving a press conference to discuss the results of the midterm election. Acosta began his question by saying he wanted to challenge him on calling the caravan an “invasion.”

“As you know, Mr. President, the caravan was not an invasion. It’s a group of migrants moving up from Central America towards the border with the U.S. Why did you characterize it as such?” he asked.

“Because I consider it an invasion. You and I have a difference of opinion,” Trump responded. Acosta then asked if he thought he “demonized immigrants” in the midterm election.

Trump responded, “I want them to come into the country, but they have to come in legally. You know, they have to come in, Jim, through a process. I want it to be a process. And I want people to come in. And we need the people.”

Acosta then followed up with an assertion that migrants in the caravan would not be climbing over walls, and that they were “hundreds and hundreds of miles away.” “That’s not an invasion,” he told Trump.

Trump told Acosta, “Honestly, I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN — and if you did it well, your ratings would be much better.”

Acosta then attempted to ask another question, but Trump tried to move on several times. Acosta repeatedly refused to give up the microphone. When a female intern tried twice to take back the microphone, Acosta pushed her arm away.

Acosta then asked two more questions before the intern succeeded in taking the microphone away.

Trump told Acosta, “I’ll tell you what: CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN.”

Acosta protested that he thought, “that’s unfair.”

“You’re a very rude person. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible. And the way you treat other people are horrible. You shouldn’t treat people that way,” Trump countered.

**Good riddance to bad rubbish** grin grin grin

A vicious accuser of Justice Kavanaugh has just admitted that she was lying, her story was totally made up, or FAKE! Can you imagine if he didn’t become a Justice of the Supreme Court because of her disgusting False Statements. What about the others? Where are the Dems on this?

President Donald Trump tweeted early Saturday morning expressing his outrage over the fact that a woman who accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of rape in October admitted to making up the entire story. His tweet came after Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley referred the woman to the FBI and Department of Justice for an investigation after she admitted to making the false allegation

That's the sensible thing to do, no sensible government will allow every Tom, dick and harry to just cross their borders into their country whenever they feel like. No country is run like that. They should go and pass through the legal process of coming into the US. If what these guys are doing is encouraged, then terrorists and criminal elements need no longer fear, they just have to join a caravan and barge their way into the country. And what message are you sending to those who are painstakingly passing through the legal procedure for immigration? You're telling them that it's not worth it since illegal immigrants can actually make it to the US faster and easier than they can. This is just common sense

You can tell that Trump is a foool who knows nothing about the American constitution. He's in early stage of dementia. Any knowledgeable American knows about the 14th amendment which is enshrined in the constitution and can't be wiped out by any president. It takes two third of Congress with 33 States ratification to amend any amendment to the constitution. I do not expect less from a White Nationalist president playing to his racist and bigoted base. Nov 6 is a week away and the Blue shellacking will be enormous.
The 14th Amendment shouldn't extend to Anchor babies of illegal aliens but permanent residents who come legally. If President Trump signs it the SCOTUS will uphold it.

I purposely laid out all the definitions...but the Context of Trump's claim was based on No 1 & 3 - love of Country. Put it this way, You have a family and therefore you prioritise their interest above others, not because you hate other families but because you place more value on your Own family, that's the concept. Same thing Trump is applying to America. Whatever you think of Nationalism, it's merits and Demerits, it's the best and there's nothing wrong in wanting your country to always come out on top in various aspect.

I already explained to you what nationalism connotes. Nationalism connotes a false sense of superiority, that is what differentiates it from patriotism. This false sense of superiority often lead to break up of countries (usually through conflicts), lead to discrimination by such nationalist groups and often lead to dictatorship.
The confederates claim they were nationalists and we're pursuing a nationalist agenda.

NATIONALISM
1. devotion and loyalty to one's own nation; patriotism.
2. excessive patriotism; chauvinism
3. love of country and willingness to sacrifice for it

I already explained the correlation between "nationalism" and violence. Nationalism according to the "reformed republican party" under the leadership of Trump, connotes hate for Obama, Clinton, Democratic Party, media, immigrants, Muslims (poor ones), LGBT and others with different opinions, in that order.

When you listen to an average election campaign speech by republicans it's words like lock him/her up, stops immigrants from coming and such rhetorics that fires up the crowd.

The republicans dont even bother to run on issues anymore. Just anti-Obama, Clinton, and Pelosi advertisements are enough to rally the Base.
President Trump and the Republican Party are not against Immigrants, Trump had stated clearly he's against Illegal Immigration, and besides the Democrats once stood on that platform too. And what did you say Nationalism connoted? That's your own fictitious definition you just made up. Trump rolled back Obama's economic policies and guess what? The economy is doing brilliantly, and Obozo is still sweating trying to take credit for it. You guys should just take a pill and chill, November 6, we'll know how far.

Secret Service intercepts suspicious packages sent to Obama, Hillary Clinton

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/suspicious-package-found-at-clintons-home-police-say

The Secret Service said Wednesday that officers "intercepted" two suspicious packages identified as "potential explosive devices" sent to former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, as reports of other potential threats against political and media targets led to evacuations in a rapidly evolving security scare.

Local reports said the Florida building housing the office of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former Democratic Party chairwoman, was evacuated amid reports of a possible suspicious package. Police in the area seemed to confirm the incident in a Twitter alert.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/suspicious-package-found-near-new-york-home-bill-hillary-clinton-n923816

Suspicious packages that appear to be working explosives were sent to Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, and CNN's New York newsroom, triggering a nationwide investigation Wednesday and bi-partisan condemnation.

The first package intercepted was addressed to the former Democratic presidential candidate and discovered on Tuesday near the Clintons' home in Chappaqua, New York, a suburb of New York City. A second was addressed to Obama and intercepted Wednesday in Washington, D.C., the FBI and Secret Service said in a statement.

The third was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan and discovered Wednesday at CNN's base in Manhattan. The newsroom was immediately evacuated and the NYPD bomb squad was summoned.
It's unfortunate that you have lost millions of microscopic brain cells all because of Trump grin What's the correlation between someone saying he's a "Nationalist" and then a suspicious package sent to the Clintons and Obama and even at CNN's building What does one has to do with the other? *smh*

Our own Nnamdi Azikiwe and obafemi Awolowo also described themselves as nationalists. I guess they were evil then? You liberals are big jokers, You go and cherry pick things and try to pass it off as the standard norm. So you are claiming that because all these bad guys you named up there called themselves nationalists then anyone who describes themselves as nationalist must be evil. Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein and Osama bin laden described themselves as Muslims, does that make anyone who described himself as a Muslim bad? Hitler and mussolini also described themselves as Christian, does that make everyone who says I am a Christian bad? Kim il sung was Buddhist so anyone who describes themselves as Buddhist must be evil then. This your argument is just a fallacy faulty generalization
Ouch!! another Fact punch you just gave him. The left are out of touch when it comes to Nationalism. In their bigoted mind anyone who acclaims to be a nationalist must be racist and evil. Even the dictionary definition of Nationalism is clear and simple - and that is, love and loyalty to one's own country. But trust the left heralded by the liberal media, because over the years they have been working tirelessly to change the meaning into something evil. Also, Remember what Candidate Trump said at the Republican National Convention at Cleveland when he was successfully nominated as the Presidential candidate, He said, "Americanism - not Globalism, shall be our Credo!"

*Condemn third world leaders.
* Sound politically correct.

Appleyard:
Per the bolded, It is obvious you don't understand a single thing about the workings of law, and the doctrine of legal reasoning that guides the courts on how they interpret cases and arrived at a ruling.

Stormy's case was dead ab initio (from the beginning). Any libel suit that premise on bribery is always 90 percent dead on arrival because the entire burden of proving the guilt of defamation as claimed by the plaintiff against the defendant is almost too heavy a burden to discharged, considering that the alleging party appears to have been consensual at some point in the whole debacle leading to the primary fact in issue.

The element of consent is always a major focus for the courts when drawing inference from various facts surrounding the primary fact in issue. Once they discover any hint of consent at some point in the course of events leading to the fact in issue, especially where the person alleging is of consensual age, the courts innate rule of legal reasoning comes in to play, and the chances of the alleging party succeeding is almost next to zero where the issue of payment is involved. The legal reasoning behind such position is that you cannot profit from your own wrong when the cards starts crumbling.

So as the name implies, Stormy's case was one hell of a case full of storms that's only headed for failure from day one because;

1. She has nothing to proof and buttress her case

2. Even if she does, she can't prove that DT was knowingly and recklessly being false; hence her inability to shift the burden of proof on DT, and

3. There is the issue of consent at some point, giving her nature of job.

From the beginning, her case was a massive failure, a disaster that should be called "hurricane Stormy", the hooker who have to pay to get laid. cool

At the bolded, what do you mean by her real case isn't dismissed yet? Are you serious? Ask yourself; what were the factors that necessitated the case for the alleged hush payment? Isn't that what the court just dissected and casted away like a fly in a glass of drinking water? So on what premise would her case for the suppose hush payment lies now? You tell me. Or is there a rule or law in the US legal jurisdiction that says you can treat a case without a fact in issue? Liberal democracy is indeed a record breaker. cool

Face it, with that decision, her case and whatever related to the hush money is lost already. You even stated the obvious on how slim her chance of winning such a case represents, yet you still believe her "realp case" is not lost yet. That's wishful thinking, friend.

But that's not all. The bad news is that these cases are creating a precedent that would have far reaching effects on other cases both now and in the future. As much as DT is concerned, any case that is brought against him in court would most likely be viewed by Judges as "politically weaponized cases", and the likelihood that such cases will be thrown out by the courts is increasing, as Trump keeps winning and the precedent keeps mounting.

From all angles, it's a dead end for desperate liberals. The more they try, the more they keep making Trump famous. The ediots don't even know they are actually aiding his popularity and actively campaigning for him with all these senseless and baseless accusations.

Very pathetic.
If I'm to assume the role of a Referee in a boxing match between both of you, I'd say hey! man, just take it easy, you are giving out too many Fact/Truth Punches..swinging too hard grin go easy on him, cos if you continue with dis rate you will turn him into an NPC soon grin grin

Wow! So it's OK to label those on the Right as fascists, Nazis, Xenophobes, Russian Bots etc and of course Deplorables (to name a few, which in itself is dehumanizing to a large extent) But a meme such as this is enough to set the Left on fire? Too many indeed are light skinned and spineless that everything offends them but they don't care when they do the exact same thing to others they disagree with.
