Anduku: They have seen that the first one from Ford is destined for failure because even her own longtime friend denied her story. Same with this new story, everyone contacted by the new yorker have denied the story. But that won't stop the stupid Kophschmerzen from coming here to make noise like the idiot he is Exactly! They saw the handwriting on the wall and decided to prop up another liar. I think it's apparent on what their goal is - and that is to stall and drag out the process with the hope that the Republicans become spineless enough not to confirm Kavanaugh. If the Republicans have the guts they could as well do the vote on Monday and confirm Him. Then the Accusers can direct their claims to local law enforcement. |

Democrats want Ford (Kavanaugh's accuser) to testify only after Kavanaugh testifies first. Who in their right mind would advocate for this? The Accused testifying before the Accuser does? First when the allegation was initially made they(Ford and her attorney) vowed to testify before the Senate committee. Although the Senate had agreed and had scheduled Monday to be the set day, Ford, her attorney and Democrats are now doing a 180 turn and are now attempting to shift the goal post once again in a bid to drag out the process. This is not just low but Snake-belly low for the ones who are too busy resisting and obstructing. |

TheShopKeeper: Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Napolitano: Paul Manafort is Trump's beast in the night,
http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/09/20/judge-andrew-napolitano-why-paul-manafort-is-trumps-beast-in-night.html
Manafort was indicted by two federal grand juries -- one in Arlington, Virginia, and the other in Washington, D.C. -- for financial crimes committed before and during his time running the 2016 Trump presidential campaign. Both prosecutions have been led by Robert Mueller, the Department of Justice-appointed special counsel charged with investigating whether there was a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and people working for the Russian government.
Last week, on the eve of Manafort’s second trial, that prosecutorial strategy paid off when he entered a guilty plea before a federal judge in Washington, D.C. Manafort’s guilty plea is unique and extraordinary. In the plea, Manafort, who only pleaded guilty to two federal crimes -- witness tampering and conspiracy to defraud the government -- also admitted that he committed dozens of other federal and state crimes.
This was intentionally maneuvered by Mueller as part of the plea agreement so as to make it bulletproof from a presidential pardon. I have never seen this before. The president can only pardon federal crimes. Should he do so for Manafort, state prosecutors in New York, Virginia and California -- the states where these crimes (mainly bank fraud) to which Manafort admitted under oath actually took place -- can seek indictments immediately. It will be easy to indict and easy to convict Manafort because of his public admissions last Friday.
he pattern of crimes to which Manafort admitted but for which he did not plead guilty is breathtaking. It involves tens of millions of dollars, the highest-ranking former government officials in the Ukraine, an unnamed Obama Cabinet member and a few Russian oligarchs. The only good news for Trump in all this is that he and his Republican congressional colleagues will be spared the daily barrage of negative headlines from a second Manafort trial, which was scheduled to start this week and which would have led up to the midterm elections, had it not been aborted by the guilty plea. But the president surely fears a beast in the night in the form of whatever Manafort privately tells Mueller. Keep your fantasy alive, bro, What you will eventually have is 'shattered dreams' |

Hillary Clinton warns Trump will 'wholesale fire people' after midterm elections Hillary Clinton joined The Rachel Maddow Show, where she and Maddow discussed, among many other things, the anonymous op-ed that appeared in the New York Times in which an alleged senior official wrote about a resistance within the Trump administration. Clinton believes this will lead to widespread firings after the midterm elections in November, and based on a prediction she made on the show just over a year ago, she might be right. On Sept. 14, 2017, Clinton told Maddow, “ The people around him [Trump] have to be our first line of defense against him doing something that will have serious repercussions.” Since that prediction has proved true, Clinton made another: “ What I worry about, Rachel, is that after this election this president’s going to wholesale fire people. That’s my prediction for tonight, like my prediction from last year.” She added, “ And if we don’t have one or both houses of Congress in place, he will be even more uncontrollable and unaccountable. He will fire people in the White House. He will fire people in his administration who he thinks are crossing him, questioning him, undermining him.” https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/hillary-clinton-warns-trump-will-wholesale-fire-people-midterm-elections-062357886.html**Hmm so Hillary is afraid of President Trump firing a bunch of deep state operatives. Doesn't Presidents (Past and Present) have the prerogative to hire or fire whoever they want, so long as they want their Administrative agenda to be accomplished? Elections have consequences, don't they? |

The Senate Democrats and the Accuser of Kavanaugh are suddenly demanding full FBI investigation before the accuser testifies before the Senate Committee. Wow! I knew what they were up to, Delay, delay, and Stall the process possibly post mid terms. If Ford doesn't show up on Monday The Republicans should proceed ahead and confirm Kavanaugh cos it's obvious the Democrats are playing their usual tricks, it's so damn obvious FACTS 1. It’s not in federal jurisdiction, due to the fact it’s not a federal crime, & the statue of limitations has run out. I’m pretty sure she & her lawyer knows this...hence their BS threat for their reason to not show up on Monday. 2. In this circumstance The accuser has no rights to demand anything, but she does have a duty to step up and testify under oath! There is no delay in justice, for justice delayed, is justice denied! Remember there are two sides to this story! 3. How can she demand anything? There is no crime scene. She doesn't remember what year or where this house is located. The statute of limitations has expired on a state law as this is not a federal crime. So what are you hoping to investigate? |

TheShopKeeper: The Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday formally postponed a vote on Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination, canceling a meeting set for later this week where a vote was initially expected to happen.
Staffers for Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) sent out a notice that the Thursday business meeting had been canceled. The Senate is expected to leave town for the week on Tuesday.
The delay for a vote to advance Kavanaugh's nomination was widely expected following allegations from Christine Blasey Ford, a professor who alleges that Kavanaugh held her down and tried to remove her clothes at a party in the early 1980s when both were in high school.
Kavanaugh has denied the allegations.

TheShopKeeper: Another book due out soon
Former FBI official Andrew McCabe new book deal - “The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump” out December 4 2018.
https://apnews.com/3356a6bf9e17444cb09bf056597bde06
NEW YORK (AP) — Just months after the publication of James Comey’s “A Higher Loyalty,” another former FBI official will take on President Donald Trump.
Andrew McCabe, the former FBI deputy director ousted this year amid repeated attacks from Trump and a critical Justice Department report, has a book deal. St. Martin’s Press announced Tuesday that “The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump” will come out Dec. 4.
St. Martin’s is calling the book a candid account of his career and defense of the FBI’s independence. According to the publisher, McCabe will describe “a series of troubling, contradictory, and often bizarre conversations” with Trump and other high officials that led him to believe the “actions of this President and his administration undermine the FBI and the entire intelligence community” and threaten the general public.
“I wrote this book because the president’s attacks on me symbolize his destructive effect on the country as a whole,” McCabe said in a statement issued through St. Martin’s. “He is undermining America’s safety and security, and eroding public confidence in its institutions. His attacks on the most crucial institutions of government, and on the professionals who serve within them, should make every American stand up and take notice.”
With the bureau, McCabe had worked on everything from the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks to the Boston Marathon bombing. “The Threat” is likely to draw comparisons to “A Higher Loyalty,” the best-seller by Comey, whom Trump fired in 2017. Both books come from divisions of Macmillan. You mean the lying McCabe who was fired just a day or two to retirement? The only job you losers will be engaged in until President Trump leaves Office in 2025 will be reading Books. |

PDPGuy: There is nothing that can be done with regard to the allegations of rape leveled against Judge Kavanaugh.
The statute of limitations has probably passed and I don’t think any PD in Maryland will launch an investigation into an alleged incident that happened 36 years ago. Bear in mind that no official report was ever filed as well.
Anyway, Dr. Ford’s testimony on Monday which may be compelling, would ultimately have no bearing on the guaranteed confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh. The likes of Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski could look at the overall facts of the matter, and ultimately decide to vote for Kavanaugh. Well said. Let the process take its course. In the end it will be "his word versus her word" and the Senate Committee will then make their final decision. |

They did the same to Clarence Thomas and now are playing the same script from the same old playbook. TheShopKeeper: President Trump 'not going to survive' testimony by Paul Manafort, former Obama ethics czar predicts
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/09/16/president-trump-not-going-to-survive-testimony-by-paul-manafort-former-obama-ethics-czar-predicts.html
https://www.breitbart.com/video/2018/09/16/dershowitz-manafort-knows-he-gets-a-better-deal-if-he-supports-muellers-narrative/
Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort's plea deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team is a sign that he has some "very helpful information" for the ongoing Russia probe, onetime Independent Counsel Ken Starr said Sunday.
And Norman Eisen, who served as White House Special Counsel for Ethics and Government Reform in the Obama administration, flatly predicted that President Trump wouldn't "survive" Manafort's testimony.
Manafort pleaded guilty in his Washington, D.C., trial on Friday and agreed to fully cooperate with federal officials looking into the possibility of illegal cooperation between President Trump's campaign and the Russian government, although none of Manafort's charges directly related to any alleged collusion.
Joined by Eisen, Starr told ABC's "This Week" that the news was a "very significant breakthrough."
"I think this is really good for the country," Starr, who led federal probes into former President Bill Clinton, told host Jon Karl, suggesting that the deal might help bring an end to the long-running Russia probe. "Let’s get to the truth of the matter.”
As part of the deal, Manafort has forfeited multiple bank accounts and several properties in New York. However, he will keep his properties in Florida and Virginia, where his family lives.
[i]...3 people close to Donald Trump have pleaded guilty or 'flipped' in recent months (Michael Flynn, Michael Cohen and now Paul Manafort), yet some people are still labelling the Special Counsel a 'white hunt'... Sounds familiar, That was like saying, Trump would never survive the hollywood tape, Hillary had 95% chance of winning, Trump would never survive Papadapulous. |

What about the clownish "I am Spartacus" show by the dishonest Cory Booker the other day? The truth is that Judge Kavanaugh has proven to be above board, they have found no fault in him so they have to manufacture all these theatrics to find a way to get him but they are just exposing the kind of dishonest and immoral people they are. Even Judge Bader Ginsburg slammed the democrat's behaviour during this confirmation process. They have acted without honour, without reason and without any modicum of sincerity. She broke three rules and was penalized by the umpire according to the rule books and she couldn't even take responsibility for her actions and be a graceful sportswoman, all she could do was scream racism and sexism The funny thing is that the next day, the entire squad of plantation niggers had a meltdown on twitter on how the world was unfair to them, some even blamed Trump , but the facts came out and as usual they were proven to be the dumb and illogical clowns they all are, Serena did violate the law, the umpire did follow the rule books in penalizing her, the umpire had penalized other big time white male players like djokovic,Nadal and Murray similarly, The man was not racist or sexist!! But almost the entire African American community(egged on by their liberal masters as usual) were in a frenzy before they could even get the facts right, they even went further to stretch the imagination by attacking a cartoonist who accurately depicted what really happened in cartoon form as racist. Does this not look exactly like what Lucasbalo and Kophschmerzen do here on nairaland daily? They never have any rational engagement with anyone on the pros and cons of Trump's policies or actions, all they do is scream racism, sexism, islamophobia and all the other isms and phobias they can think of. None of them takes responsibility, all they do is blame others for their situation. The economy in the US is roaring at the moment, instead of black communities to think of how to take advantage of it and improve their lot, all they do is shout racism all day long and have nightmares about Trump all night long, when the wealth gap between them and whites gets wider tomorrow, they will blame racism. Slavery is well and truly alive in this century but this time, it's mental slavery!! And that's why I refer to them as plantation niggers. These deluded clowns are nothing but slaves working in their liberal masters' plantations!! Maybe she had wished the umpire and Her opponent were pure white, only then she could have confidently added "Racism" to the list of her charges for losing the match. At the end she only diverted attention to herself, robbing Osaka of her glorious moments of victory. |

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort reaches plea deal - The plea deal calls for a 10-year cap on how long Manafort will be sent to prison, according to a source.
President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort has agreed to plead guilty in a foreign-lobbying and money laundering case brought by special counsel Robert Mueller.
The plea deal, set to be officially announced at an 11 a.m. court appearance in Washington, D.C., calls for a 10-year cap on how long Manafort will be sent to prison, and for Manafort to serve time from his separate Virginia and Washington cases concurrently, according to a source familiar with the discussions.
It's a move that legal experts quickly spun as a win for all the parties involved. Manafort gets a potentially shorter sentence and lessens his legal bills. Trump avoids several weeks of bad headlines ahead of the midterm elections about his corrupt former campaign aide. And Mueller — faced with Trump's constant claims that his probe is a witch hunt — gets to show yet again that his charges are not fabricated and can now divert resources to other elements of his probe into Russian election interference and whether the Trump campaign collaborated with the Kremlin on its efforts.

After all tried and failed, Democrats, led by Feinstein, are now back to their oldest playbook tricks - sexual misconduct allegation, against Kavanaugh. This is a last ditch effort to delay his confirmation. Reminds me of a similar tactic they tried against Clarence Thomas back in1991. And they say this was all the way back from Kavanaugh's high school days. . These folks are very pathetic, what a shame! She said she received a letter, won't tell anyone what's in the letter, and yet leaked it to Press while handing it over to the FBI? All I see is #RedWave in November mid terms. Serena was the one that told the crowd at Arthur Ashe Stadium to stop booing and she even said Osaka was a better player on that particular day. It's left for foool like you to interject your right wing hateful b.s. to what has no effect on your woeful life. You can make your point without having to resort to insult, but I guess that is hard to ask though. Meanwhile, talking about John McEnroe, back in the 1987 US Open final He was actually fined about $7,500 and suspended for 2 months for using profanity and criticising calls. And three years later during the Australian Open final he became the first Tennis Player in History to be defaulted from a Grand Slam. He was fined $6,500 for smashing his racket and yelling at Judges. https://www.nytimes.com/1987/09/07/sports/mcenroe-draws-fine-suspension.htmlThe truth is that Serena Williams reacted the way she did emotionally because she was losing the match. It wasn't the first time she lost to Osaka, She had lost to the same opponent earlier this year in Florida, Was that due to Sexism? Or What?!Her First Violation was for side - coaching - which attracted Warning. Her second Violation was her smashing the racket on the groundHer third violation was calling the umpire a Thief
My question to you is, Did the other guys you mentioned commit all these three violations in one Game? The same Umpire gave code violations to Murray, Rafa and Djokovic in 2016 even at high stakes match. |

Serena never cursed but pointed out the mistakes of the umpires and lost 3 points. Even the USTA agreed with Serena but you have to follow the line of Racist Faux News and try to diminish Serena's point. She was the one that asked the spectators not to boo Osaka who greatly admired Serena. And that's the problem with you and your types (SJWs). Why not cut the crap and call a spade a spade. Before you talk about ''everything about America'' I'm a Huge fan of Serena Williams and we're talking about the game of Tennis, BUT 1. Naomi Osaka won fairly and convincingly. She had already beaten Williams at Indian Wells '18. 2. Umpire enforced penalties according to rules, not his own emotions. 3. Williams should have fought back with her court play instead of manipulating others into thinking she is the poor victim. Generating hatred and other negative emotions. 4. USTA and crowd owes Naomi an apology for their classless actions 5. Those who see the truth of this situation needs to show their love towards Naomi instead of giving attention to what doesn't deserve our attention. **The worse thing of this whole fiasco....Serena robbed Osaka of fully enjoying her glorious win.
