Well let me help out by saying this..each state is peculiar n den even in d state villages have dia own different ways of doing things.. Am from Enugu state n I can say authoritatively that even in d state it varies from village to village..my place for example, my cousin got married n d bride price was 11k..wen it was collected dey took out just 1k and gave d Husband's pple 10 back saying he shud use it to take care of our daughter, Dats to say it was just one thousand that was collected n wat he was asked to bring was not much at all..he dint even spend up to 40k..if he now wants to do a major party dats his business. So like I said it varies from state to state n village to village n also family to family. So just pray u get a good family and pple dat r reasonable to deal with and considerate..
