I don't like Lagos for anything. Overcrowded, smelling gutters, agberos, poor road networks. The only Pro is the opportunities it presents. And maybe the diversity in culture and people. Maybe thr highbrow areas are better, but my experience in the island wasn't that great. |
jchioma:Don't be too confident because you can only control so much when it comes to mental health problems. Depression can make you kill yourself and yes, it doesn't matter how rich or how well you are doing in life. When you become depressed and you don't seek help, you are likely to end up this way. So, just take care of your mental health and hope not to slip into depression. Let me add that depressed people commit suicide because they STRONGLY believe that's the only way out of their sufferings. It takes medications and lots of convincing by professionals to make them think otherwise. Most times, this still isn't enough. |
Hehehe. Nigeria is a crime scene |

Gen Z kids and the desperate desire to jump from being a student or fresh graduate to an established man or woman with the best cars, houses, etc. While a few lucky or privileged ones are able to attain such status in shortest possible time, that can't be said for everyone. Especially when you come from a background that cannot set the foundation to attain such quick height. The future looks scary. If you try fault a wrong notion or action taken by your fellow young person. All you get is an instant rebuke, telling you to "go and hustle". When you hear "go and hustle" like that, you'd think they are telling you to get into a more creative or financially viable stuffs. But hell no, what "go and hustle" means 90% of the time is for you to go and do WHATEVER IT TAKES to make money. This can be fraud, ritual killing, kidnapping, drug dealing and all sort of illegal stuffs. As a fellow Gen Z, I strongly feel the past generation of parents failed to maintain the standard they inherited from their own parents of different generation. Pete Edochie had this to say about the ongoing rot in the society.

caye:Tht might be true but why I'm convinced that they cheat their users is that I had already added the file to downloads. If you're familiar with ADM downloader, you'd know that they have an option were you can load the file and then pause to resume afterwards. So I added the file to downloads already. I only resumed it after making the data subscription. I didn't visit any other website because I wanted the download to get to at least 1.9gb but to my shock, it stopped at 1.7gb |
casualobserver:In a bid to sound smart, you ended up sounding very stupid. Is it Nigerians that are making policies that are crippling companies and driving them out? Is it Nigerians that removed fuel subsidy without taking proactive measures to mitigate the aftermath? Is it Nigerians that floated the naira? Is it Nigerians that are not arming our millitary with efficient weapons thereby allowing them get killed by ragtag bandits and herdsmen, which has worsen the food security of the country? Is it Nigerians that found it pressing enough to change the National anthem amidst the current economic hardship, poverty, and insecurity in the country? Is it Nigerians that used billions to renovate the VP residence, opt to buy a yatch, and currently planning to upgrade the presidential fleet while workers still remain on the same salary that they've been receiving years ago which can't buy much now? Can any business thrive and make longterm plans with the current situation of the country? Definitely No. Nvidia is where they are because the people in power have made policies that favour business growth. Companies in Nigeria can't even cross off power supply as a concern when making plans. Note, Nigerians here refer to the masses not the privileged few in power. Tinubu has proven how much of a failure he is in just 1 year than the past or any of the leaders you mentioned did in their entire tenure. That's the truth. He was branded intelligent but so far, nothing he does points to it. Nigeria is underdeveloped not because of the comments I make or anyone else makes on this platform or anywhere else. Nigeria is underdeveloped because they keep voting in empty heads like the clown in Aso rock into power. Nigeria is underdeveloped because an average Nigerian is corrupt and will jump on any opportunity to steal to enrich himself and family. You're not more Nigerian than anyone else. Don't quote me again because it's obvious you are a brainless bigot. |
If Nvidia was in Nigeria, Tinibunomics would have rendered it useless |
Thunder will fire MTN and other thieving telcos. I subscribed 2gb to download a file of exactly 2gb. The download got to 1.7gb and MTN thieves notified me that I've used up my data. A whole 300mb gone. It's not as if I used that same data to surf the net. I had already added the file to downloads before making the sub. God punish MTN |
We never even solve the old Boko Haram problem, you wan create new one |
This increase in minimum wage will only favour government workers. Falana highlighted a very vital point which must be considered. There is a difference between wage and salary. What the government and labour have been doing so far is fixing minimum salary. This is totally wrong. Minimum wage should be done per hour as obtainable in other countries. We should be fighting for maybe 500 naira per hour or upwards not 60k a month. The issue with this current format is that it creates room for abuse of labour by private businesses. You will see a bar owner employ someone to work from monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm for 30k a month. If salary is billed per hour, it will fix that situation and will allow companies and businesses employ people to work based on the number of hours they can afford to pay. It would also make it easier for people to work multiple jobs. This is something labour should first of all fix. It is making these CEOs feel like demigods! |
Why them come design the flyer like burial poster? |

Of all the issues plaquing this country, it's a dirty little prostitute that you want us to be concerned about? |
Nairalanders should begin creating threads on how grasshoppers and termites are better substitutes for Rams, as they've been doing with tomatoes. We all must learn!

Na that 7:0 against Man U sweet me pass. After that wide-mouthed Ten Haag with head like Tegwolo bragged about eras coming to an end. Make season start abeg. Hopefully Arne Slot won't become a slut for other teams. Up Liverpool!

Bamss1:All I see here is you judging another person. How is Flavour worst that Frank and the rest? Is he so bad a sinner that he shouldn't be considered among other sinners? Everybody is a sinner so you have no right to judge anyone. |

Exousiang01:Lol, why are you pained? Who gives a fvck where you live, you weak baby with fragile ego and low self-esteem. You even had to state where you live to just make yourself feel good about your status. I spent last year in Ogun state and I couldn't wait to get the fvck out of there. A lot of fetish people with skewed beliefs about the source of wealth. Why would anyone want to be a neighbour to someone who might drill his skull because he believes it spits money? Thunder fire you if you quote me again! Egoistic baboon |
