What people like you don’t know is that twitter as a company has never turned a profit since it was created over 15 years ago. It has been basically running on investor money like a giant Ponzi scheme. That’s not a sustainable business model and the company was bound to collapse at some point.

The shareholders knew this, which is why they were desperate to sell to Elon even at the point when he was trying to back out. Or you didn’t know that at some point Elon wanted to back out of the deal after he got access to twitters books and saw how much of a mess the company really was? You see you don’t even know what’s happening.

Someone is trying to save a sinking ship and find a way to make it a profitable business for the first time in its history.
