@ Poundsmaker: my first paragraph i wrote about whom i am (my profession, what i do as a professional and wht and wht it involves)
My 2nd paragraph i wrote the origin of the airforce, funcions/duties etc
My last paragraph i wrote about how invaluable my profession is to the airforce, personnels and their families and nigeria. I went further to make suggestions as to make suggestions on things i saw wch if implemented cld improve d service..

Omo it's crazy here...oo series of exams to be done: lab test (urinalysis, bld grouping etc), eye check (optometry), ecg and x-rays(radiology), physical exams, bp, height, weight, psychological analysis, dental exams. Instructions keeps changing to instill an air of uncertainty and test ur flexibility and ability to respond to d last command. All medicals and allied health professionals will be having their oral interviews with their specially assembled professionally-inclined red necks 2mrw 7.30hrs

1) Medicals and result verification
2) Oral interview
3) Written test on 24th
4) PT Test on 26th (3.2km run etc)
All candidates who are medical practitioners or personnel asked to come back specially on friday for their assessment.

You finally face the Int'view Board (Grp. Capt. & Cdr. mayb evn AVMs) seated and ask a few questns i tink their aim is to see hw bold and coordinated u can be cos dey dnt really ask Gound Brkn questns, jst things like, whats your name, tell us abt u...or tell us the ranking ladder from a priv8 to the top (or the othr way round). If u'r lucky (like one guy) dey tel u ''move back'', the guy turned around to go out & dey sed NO we sed ''Move Back'', he turned to walk back agan & is was NO.....until he finally kept facing them & stepped bck (lol) pls b attentive if u get to this stage EVERYTHING matters. Then they bid u farewell after 2wks or less. So obviously nt all applicants dat goes in will stay the 2wks, som will leave 2days l8r whyl odas stay'all thru, mayb from the 600-700 that'll come 400-450 will be left standn b4 the int'vw aftr that 250 - 300 will be left frm wch the final list of 100 (or less) will be chosen.

more stuffs, everyone meets in Kaduna and are given accomodation & fud wch is nt so bad though (bt u might wan2 bring ur own provision if u'r choosy & hold som cash for mammy mkt). Den comes re-chkn ur rzlt *screened out*, extensive medicals(ECG & d rest lyk it)*screened out* these'll tk a couple of days, den 3.2km run/jug in 18mins (not as easy as it sounds peeps, trust me lol.) *screened out*

What to Expect:
1) First List about 10,000 candidates nation wide, these will be gotten immediately after registeration, if ur name doesn't appear it means u are either under/over age, unfit, do not meet height rqrment, was convicted b4, or have stated health issues they don't accept.2) Then all will converge at their Various centres (4th-10th April, 2012) where documents will be checked, BP & height n som folks kicked out.3) Then the Apt test, 50 questions in Maths, English & General Paper(GMAT style). Same was said at Makurdi centre where i wrote...

I think it was between Stratosphere and Troposphere. Cos all that should be part of the layers of the atmosphere. Hence, the answer should be Tropopause.... but i wrote the wrong one (Hydrosphere)

hahahaha, my dear, it seems that you are dreaming. To get 40/50 is even hard. Don't mind some of us that were bragging that they finished everything. If they access themselves with respect to what they wrote, they will realise that they did some mistakes. I witnessed that some guys even told their colleagues wrong anwsers. For example, the question that asked the new created country, one guy told his colleague that the answer is A instead of B (South Sudan). The highest military institution is NDA, but another guy told his colleague different answer. So let us forget this syndrome of we wrote everything. Any of us that claims that he/she didn't do any mistake is a typical liar. In conclusion, let us pray that we scale through not because of what we wrote but because of God's favour.

@ Nwabugwu: i think the highest military institution is actually The Nigerian Defence College (NDC), for senior military officers. NDA is basically for lower cadre officers.

@Ozenko: wch is ur state cos mine is Abia and i also pqrtook in d verification 2day we were all told to come on 24th for writen with a blue biro. So i dont get d monday u're referring to. Kindly clarify, thanks...

@Am at Makurdi centre now. We are all sitted on the floor facing the sun. They just concluded instructions on the exams on 24 (come with ur acknowledgement card as form of identification, only blue biro for writing etc). They have started calling names for those from Benue state....
