If your place is great as una dey claim, you no dey run commot from there. Rubbish!
Oga stop being dense. Yorubas are living and working in the south east. Stop being dense abeg, you are so naive for even calling a people savage that is why whites call you savage. But again I have dared you bring the statistics to show the migratory trends of the igbos from 2000 till date let us analyse, if you don't have it shut up your stinking mouth.

Do you have any evidence to proove this hogwash
🤣

So for every 100 people in the East, one of them was a Dr?

In the 50s?

Did you get these lies from your Radio (Biafra) Propaganda?

Awolow trying to play catch up with who...?
Zik?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You want evidence. Please read the book History of Education by Prof Babatunde Fafunwa where he outlined the education trend between the three regions from 1940 till 1967. The civil war caused a slow down in enrollment figures but right now check it the south east has overtaken in enrollment figures once again.

Lagos never be first capital of Nigeria neither second and ever since Lagos and other western regions have been transformed by the western region investment which still exists today which is oduduwa investment. Ehhhhh bros take am easy to dey lie. Lagos even from colonial times was a capital territory different from Western region. No western region investment developed Lagos even Odua investment never developed Lagos. After the civil war when Lagos became a state the massive investments were federal investments and that of Lateef Jakande. Make una take am easy to dey lie.

May be you should go to Ilorin and see for yourself. Yorubas are still the majority there, up 75%. Mind you, Ilorin is just a portion of Kwara state. The governor is always a Yoruba man. If you hear things from your fellow Ibos on Nairaland, still try to Google more about it so that you don't eventually look like a fool when you talk.
But a Fulani man is the Emir. When push comes to shove these guys will claim north that is to show you that you no matter at all.

What of the Eyo masquerade on display? LAGOS!!!
What of the danfo bus colours? LAGOS!!!
The Lagos BRT colours? LAGOS!!!
What of the beautiful Aso Oke? Yoruba!!!

I can even see the Lagos state logo but all you see is the small Nigerian flag. It's good sha. At least, you couldn't squeeze Biafra flag into it.
Well it shows that you are under Nigerians so forget that identity rubbish you are doing.

Lagos self get oil, Baba. Moreso, Awo was doing things without oil but cocoa money. It's obvious you are full of beef because all people like you do is boast about Igbo all to discover that Yorubas have set the pace a very long time ago already.
But Zik and M.I Okpara were doing things without crude oil, but with coal. Western region had only Ijora power station, but east had Oji River and Afam Power stations. You had Ikeja industrial estate, we had TransAmadi, Aba, Onitsha, Nnewi industrial estates. The Eastern region had better school enrollment number which made Awo in 1955 to introduce free education to catch up with the east. In medicine the ratio of doctors to people was 1 to 100 in the east, 1 to 500 in the west and 1 to 2000 in the North. Bros Park well abeg, you guys love this superiority complex and yet you have no knowledge of history.

Reference:
In all my years in and around the oil industry in Portharcourt I came across tons of oil field and oil service engineers that worked for production companies, marine companies, exploration companies, the lot in both large establishments and smaller foreign service outfits.

They have the skills no doubt. What they don't have to make a truly independent and viable oil production and petrochemical industry are the tools and equipment and the organization to turn that industry around.

These are the needs a serious government is and should be able to bridge.
This is the difference between the tragedy of the local refiners and the established oil companies.
Who taught these folks how to perforate pipes, manipulate manifolds and 'crack' crude oil. Of course those who worked in production.

It shows the knowledge is there but the organization to formalize their activities and equip them to do it technically, ethically and responsibly is totally lost on the government for whatever reason. Whereas the expertise in most cases originated from small businesses and technical companies in the United States, the UK, France and Italy which these large oil production companies use till date.

In developed nations small businesses underpin the economy, small businesses support and service the huge conglomerates we hear of today. The government should be looking towards the establishment of a small business culture here in Nigeria to get industry moving.

It is far easier for example to get company xyz in Texas employing 150 people to come invest a million dollars in tech and tech transfer to help get a modular refinery working than it is to get Saudi Aramco to come build a refinery here. But here we often want the big ticket, big news, big budget stories than often will not materialise or will further corrode our self survival abilities.

We need a government that seeks to put Nigeria and Nigerians to work with a plan that will build capacity from the ground up.
This is essentially what the government should do not all this white elephant mumbo jumbo.
