I am a proud Yorùbá Ronú.

Congratulations to the Igbos.
At last, they have a Grammy winner they can lay claim to. Cheers 🥂 to their bragging in advance.

That's why I didn't even bother to reply that dingbat. I know their modus operandi very well.

There's another werey that disguised as Yorùbá in the 1st page, werey is Ogbonna that has no Wisdom. 😂

What a beautiful country!!

But some agbado munching miscreants want to destroy this country with their useless tribalism! Awon Werey!!

They claim igbos are tribalistic, yet igbos have voted for Hausas ( Yaradua, Shagari Atiku) and voted yorubas (Obasanjo, MKO Abiola,)

Please someone should mention anytime in the history of this country when Hausas and Yorubas massively voted for an igbo man! cheesy cheesy

May thunder fire all ronu wailing bastards!
Cry more.
Tinubu lost 2 states in South West but your Agulu Pandora won with over 90% in all 5 South East states.

Yorùbá don't do cultural appropriation. We have our own identity since time immemorial.
If you're truly an Edo guy, the joke is on you. But if you disguised and you're from those who appropriated Oyinbo winter caps as part of their cultural attire, OMSFDN, OMSRBRKDN TBTR.

Wisdom Ogbonna, werey dey disguise.
You can never be Yorùbá in your life.
How low could you go, disguising yourself as Yorùbá when you are not and making unsavory remarks. Eranko.

Is it only Yorùbá attire that was there? Were you blind to see other ethnic groups represented with their attires? But your tribalistic dirty mind only had to see Yorùbá.

Did you know that if Oluyinka Olutoye was an American, he would garner about as much recognition as Ben Carson?

I'm so proud to be a Yoruba, I swear. Class, elegance, growth, success, grit, social, vibes, hospitality, and strength are what our story represents. Big ups to you, if you're a Yoruba. You're the only of your kind. Keep marching.

Some of the most successful Africans alive have our blood and roots; Adenuga, Soyinka, Awolowo, Ogunlesi, Fela, Sade Adu, Anthony Joshua, Isreal Adesanya, Akintola Williams, F. R. A Williams, Funke Akindele, Folorunsho Alakija, K.S.A, Ayinde Barrister, Wizkid... just inexhaustible list.

Let me not mention football, 2023 UCL semi final had Yorubas on 3 starters of the 4 teams; Alaba, Akanji, and Fikayo; 2024 final has Adeyemi,... Musiala, Saka, and so on. Other sports nko? Adesanya Isreal, A. Joshua, and that fastest girl alive say hi.

Did you know it's impossible to write/tell the history of Africa without recognizing our important role in about EVERY of its facet, from Oyo empire, to slavery, to richest woman in Africa, to one of richest cities in Africa, to the first subsaharan to receive a Noble prize, to a vanguard role in tech (Olugbenga Agboola and Tope Awotona)—it's an endless list.

Thing is I'm surprised how some Yoruba allow some things other people say get to them, unrealizing they're and have always had potentials to be bigger.

UI, Yabatech, OAU, first subsaharan Nobel Prize owner—chai, this education thing, leave am gve us(the cradle of west African education)—first stadium in Africa, first African TV station, first Nigerian club to win international competition, first professor in Nigeria, first teaching hospital in Nigeria, >½ of all Nigerian professors made in Yoruba land, tallest Nigerian building; inexhaustible list of Yorubas achievement.

Look, if you're a Yoruba, and you haven't thought about and walked the path of making yourself, your immediate environment better, then you're wrong! I make bold to say that.

Forget your environment or natural disposition, you could be anything with and make a thing off it—see Portable (3 years ago, he was absolutely a guy you might call urchin, today he's everywhere and progressing with his demeanor), see Tems (as cool as a dove, yet making money and impact off her talent regardless). Do something for yourself, you're a Yoruba, have you forgotten the line of blood your forefathers stem from? Greatness is in you. Countless of your Yoruba likes are found in US and UK government. Wake up, do something.

That you're a female isn't an excuse, we're arguably the tribe with most successful women in Africa, from Azizat Oshoala, Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, Tems, Tiwa Savage, F. Alakija, to many of female bank CEOs of Yoruba origins, and so on. Nothing is limiting you, you're a Yoruba! No dey dull, legally! No slumber! It's like we need PR to remind our peeps how great we're and how it's only our starting point we are.

Damn, I just wanna make so much dough, be influential, marry a classy, beautiful, and educated Yoruba babe, attend these kind functions with her, and give this man a run for his swag(in my old age), as Omoluabi wey I be. grin cheesy

lol what’s the difference between 2022 and 2024?

Almost all Iboland have multiple communities in darkness. I don’t even know it is this worse. Anambra, Enugu, Ebonyi, Abia already.

So you can’t power your land that is just as size of Oyo state alone?

WAllahi, governors of South Eastern states always have it easy when it comes to governance, they will be embezzling state funds while their residents are fixated and be doing busybody on matters concerning Yorùbá South Western states especially Lagos.

Zik is Awo's senior. Both in politics and intelligence. The only issue with Zik is that he was eyeing Africa. Even Zik wàs so brilliant that he defeated Awo in the west Awo was just a tribal bigot and a backstabber which is inherent in you people
Even Zik will be ashamed of this your attempt trying to whitewash him.
Zik -of cursed memory- and his tribesmen were the real backstabber. You will just be opening your mouth without facts and evidence to back it up. It's obvious you got this notion from radio biafraüd.

Your Zik and his tribesmen were the greatest betrayal of all time.

Just like at Independence, Awolowo offered a joint government between the AG and NCNC, with Azikiwe as Prime Minister and Awo as Finance Minister. Awolowo and Azikiwe "were still negotiating" when it was announced that Azikiwe would be President in a coalition with NPC of the North. The East then collaborated in destroying the West and sending Awolowo and his lieutenants to jail! The fact is there.

What of the 1965 elections which the West (Yoruba) and the East (Igbo) agreed to boycott? They met all night and reached agreement at about 3am on the day of the election. In the morning, while the Yoruba (West) boycotted the election, the Igbo (East) went ahead to vote.

Also after the 1979 elections, Yoruba (UPN) and Igbo (APP) leaders were still at the negotiating table for a coalition when to their surprise, an announcement was heard that the Igbo (APP) had agreed to a coalition with the North (NPN).

Then after the 1983 elections, 1979 repeated itself. Not giving up, Awolowo reached out to Azikiwe again for cooperation. Talks started and they met in Benin where Awolowo pleaded passionately that only a collaboration between the Igbo and the Yoruba could save Nigeria. They didn't reach agreement but promised to meet again. Before the next meeting, the Igbo had again teamed up with the North.

As a far older woman

I make bold to say Nigerian men are quite and far better in terms of sexual outlook and orientation

They view a woman as a woman portrays herself

Indians and pakistanis do not. They rape hijabi and veiled women, old and decrepit women, babies, toddlers, sick women, insane women, teenagers, own female relatives and even female corpses.

These men have no limit and their lust for rape is animalistic

I think Nairaland posted a news where 4 Indian men even raped a Komodo Dragon.

They are worst than animals.

How could DRC keeper concede such a cheap goal? 🤔
I was surprised too.
All he needed was just to move back and tip the ball over for a corner kick. He thought it was going out and misjudged the ball.

I congratulate everyone for today's win against Cameron... but please don't condemn iwobi he actually brought a killer pass to Calvin Bassey that led to lookmans goal and aside that he fell back to give the team the balance we need for rhe match ....to me iwobi contributions to the match is silent but felt... the team played well and osimen and lookman have been good since day one ...Aina is beast and Calvin ajayi and ekong did a great job...

Lastly I want to remind us that the team is playing 5man defender so don't blame iwobi the load in the midfield is more that's y onyeka is only marking and iwobi is trying to maintain stability
You got it right 💯.
He was sound tactically during the match.
People should calm down, the coach used him as a defensive midfielder that's why he didn't forayed much into the opposition's attacking third.
