I support you BLUEBELL. A lot of us tends to think the other way round. To me, what is more important is for one to lay enphasy on how to build his or herself. In most of our schools, some students does funny things to get what they want, while those that fails to understand the music of some lecturers are bullied. You know what i mean. Therefore we cannot conclude that someone with a lower grade is not good enough, most times they are.
Come to think of, " no body is ever useless in developed countries. so long as you have the basic education you will enjoy a meaningful life. But in nigeria the case is very different.

How can people be so wicked? Nigerian graduate, please be careful with recruiting agents playing around like a wolf in a sheep clothing. A friend of mine told me about what he went through on 16th December on the purported Capable test. It is a NEW DIMEMSION TO 419 ners.

Yes it does, but you might not really be doing all that you learnt in school. The fact is that the knowledge you gained in school help prepares you for so many challenges you might face on a daily basis. The knowledge makes us complete in terms of resoning and way of life.
As for me, i read chemical engineering and noiw working in a Facilities management Company. The fact i have to learn new things on a aily basis.
Note that the knowledge we aquire in school counts a lot.

has any one heard about the result of NICON test result held recently?

duttybarb, i think you shouldn't come up with the idea " about grades" altough is good to come out with good grades, but we all know what the nigerian system is. It's not all that deserves it end up getting the so called good grades. But all the same we shouldn't lay more emphasy on grades but rather on how we have developed our selves. I think enough is enough on PAPER qualifiaction.

Its really unfortunate that some of us that spends our energy and time never got a hint on when the test was conducted.
I learnt about it a day after.
But friends, dont give up. Our miracle is on the way.
