My brother is positive for 21 years,he is married and his wife who is pregnant and on ARV travels with arv to both US and UK and AUSTRIA.had her first baby through C-section and second normal delivery.all negative,dont let anyone scare you ,push your baby.well i dont think you have a problem with your status you sound informed and confident.

Of course you don't have the 'intention of getting him infected', nonetheless, keeping such information from him is, in my view, and based on my experience with such issues, not a very good idea. I'm sure you must have been told that during the VCT session.

BTW how do you know he's not infected? Have you accompanied him [i]recently [/i]for the test?

We went together for his test and he is not positive, I am glad he found out about me though cos I couldn't bring myself to tell him to his face, ever!

I tested +ve some years back! My boyfriend found out recently and he is yet to say anything. Although non of my family members know about it, I am living like every normal person and go about my job without much problem becos I am taking good care of myself and living a healthy life! I am sure that someday, I will let a more people into what I am going through.
I am not afraid that I will die of the infection cos I know it won't kill me!!!
