All you need to know is the 2004 camry's overall maintenance cost is very afforadable compared to how much u gonna buy it. am talkin from fuel to parts to maintenace. and like any other car all u have to do is change oil every 4000miles +/- 1000miles and u wont have any problem. unless off course u have an accident (God forbid).

2000 avalon is a nice car. fuel consumption is ok compared to the other cars in its class just cos its a toyota. But u have to understand the fuel consumption is gonna be higher than the current car. maintenance cost will be more or less be the same. spare parts r available, but its not gonna come cheap compared to ur current car.
